Your totally right on this.  People don't get that Vlad at his best was not once in a generation, but once in history.   Do you think you'll ever see an 18 or 19 year old have the kind of minor league seasons Vlad had.  You will not.  Do you think a Blue Jay will ever set the young player (22 and under) homerun record?   No they won't.  Do you think a Blue Jay will ever have a second half like Vlad did in 2024?  Probably not, this one could happen.  No Blue Jay will ever have a playoffs like Vlad did in 2025. 

Jo Jo Parker.  Exciting.  Wonderful.  Maybe he'll be the first 50 WAR Blue Jays position player.  Will he hit .400 as a 19 year old in double A?   No.  He is already 20 and only has 3 weeks in high A.   

When will the next Blue Jays to hit 48 homers as a 22 year old appear?  NEVER.

When will the next Blue Jays to hit .320 as an 18 year old in State side full season ball appear?  NEVER.  Juan Sanchez we all love and know he will grow to be wonderful and he hit 100 points less.  .220!
