GoBlue41 Verified Member Posted September 16, 2025 Posted September 16, 2025 Crazy idea here....... Although I love a good comeback win as much as anyone, let's try to jump on them quickly with a few runs early and get a lead in this one!

Let's go down 5-0 by the third and mount an epic comeback, while the Yankees do the opposite. Waylanderz and BatFlip 2

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2025 Posted September 16, 2025 Im gonna make a hot prediction here that Berrios gets blasted for 5+ runs. The Rays seem to have his number
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2025 Posted September 16, 2025 Fun fact: The Yankees are closer to falling out of a Wild Card spot than they are to the AL East lead right now Stangstag, Wake n bake and max silver 3

infinitebook Verified Member Posted September 16, 2025 Posted September 16, 2025 Curious to see if Berrios will be throwing 94-95 again. If he pitched in the ALDS he presumably would have an extended rest between starts, so if being well rested is the key he could still in play for a postseason start.

jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2025 Posted September 16, 2025 If the Jays go down 5 runs early, you'll get better odds!

Pepiot is on a heater at the moment, but they are watching his innings so I expect 5 at the most even if he's going well. It would be nice not to get off to a slow start, it's been a bit of an issue lately. G-Snarls 1

glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2025 Posted September 16, 2025 Bo’s out for the regular season. The bye may help get him back by the start of the playoffs but depends on how he recovers. Tough spot for him to be in during a free agent year.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2025 Posted September 16, 2025 Let's assume Bo is back for the playoffs. Would it be crazy to put him at 2B when he returns? And have Taters DH? You could possibly put Bo at DH with Taters in a corner OF spot. But Bo at 2B, despite the lack of experience, might be better than Taters in the OF.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted September 16, 2025 Posted September 16, 2025 Division series start October 4th which is 2 days short of 4 weeks since the injury

I have a feeling if Bo is coming back it isn’t anywhere but DH. I think you have Santander in the France role as a PH in that situation or you just leave Lukes off the roster but a OF with both Santander and Springer in the corners could be ugly.

Because of concerns that Bo hasn't played 2B before? Or you don't think he will because of his feelings in a FA year? Not saying you're wrong
