This is why it's not ok to be a fat lard in professional sports.  It's outright selfish to not put the fork down lol

I'm surprised the fat doesn't also bobble on his bobble arm giveaway.

He's short and stocky even if he loses weight he'll never be a runner.

Kirk comes into every spring training slightly slimmed down but by the time the regular season rolls around he's already gained it all back.

That's really the big problem.

Our number three hitter should be a number five hitter, our number four hitter should be a seven hitter.

The lineup just gets real soft real fast.

Kirk is likely a ~95 wRC+ player moving forward. The value comes from defense. This is the third year in a row they are acting like (or hoping) he’s a good hitter but the sample suggests otherwise. It is what it is. Bat him lower in the lineup moving forward. In this case Clement and Lukes are worse, so pick your poison as far as lineup construction.
