Why isn't springer playing by the way?

Because of who's on the mound and just giving him an off day early in the season on a cold night.

I see...so he should be available to pinch hit.

Roden so far hasn’t looked great vs LHP. Lots of weak contact.

I guess Springer is getting the full day off cuz that would have been the time to PH him.

What are you going to do? Ground ball pitcher, Kirk is fat. Predictable outcome.

He still thinks he's a hitter so he'll never teach himself to bunt but he kills us so often in those situations.

This is why it's not ok to be a fat lard in professional sports.  It's outright selfish to not put the fork down lol

I'm surprised the fat doesn't also bobble on his bobble arm giveaway.

He's short and stocky even if he loses weight he'll never be a runner.

At least if he lost weight, it shows he's trying to do the right thing.  Being a fat f*** shows you give no craps about trying to change for yourself and for your teammates.

He's a good catcher, relax.

Kirk should be batting 7th or 8th in all honesty.

That's really the big problem.

Our number three hitter should be a number five hitter, our number four hitter should be a seven hitter.

The lineup just gets real soft real fast.

Kirk is likely a ~95 wRC+ player moving forward. The value comes from defense. This is the third year in a row they are acting like (or hoping) he’s a good hitter but the sample suggests otherwise. It is what it is. Bat him lower in the lineup moving forward. In this case Clement and Lukes are worse, so pick your poison as far as lineup construction.
