We badly need Berrios to right the ship here, if only to continue keeping the bullpen usage down. A 7 IP start or a rout of the Nats would be terrific so we don't need to use Yimi and/or Hoffman again.

Yeah our pitching plans really ride on Berrios tonight.

If he can go 6 or 7 tonight in a rout that sets us up perfectly for an Easton Lucas/bullpen game tomorrow.

Everyone can then rest up with the off day on Thursday and then we are back to full strength with Gausman on the hill against the Mets.

The first game of the season was just one of those games where the Orioles parked every single mistake pitch in the seats like they knew what was coming. I believe Berrios' command was just off a bit in that start, and the Blue Jays opening day starter seems to get bombed by the opposition in most seasons in recent memory.

Yeah Manoah was the opening day starter a single time in between the Berrios starts.

Also to be fair the Os have one of the best lineups in baseball, even without Gunnar
