mphenhef Verified Member Posted March 30, 2025 Posted March 30, 2025 Sugano feels like the guy of kind the Jays should hit well against but will still dominate them.
Laika Community Moderator Posted March 30, 2025 Posted March 30, 2025 The Yarborough, Lovelady decisions could not have gone worse. - Yarbro cut because "don't need two long men" - Yarbro immediately signed by division rival to MLB deal - Lovelady loses a game himself - Lovelady cut after being directly responsible for said loss - Scherzer hurt, Yariel to the rotation, now the Jays have no long man Jays24 and jaysblue 2

Oh ya, right... EVERYONE!!! Lol jaysblue, Barrelsandbombs and Jaysman 3
BTS Community Moderator Posted March 30, 2025 Posted March 30, 2025 This pitching staff is in serious trouble. Gausman is probably a 2 at this point. Bassit and Berrios are both 4th starters. Jury out on Francis. Hoffman and Garcia the only two reliable arms in the pen.

Bloss, Fluharty, Yesavage promote them all

Lol I think you nailed it on the Yarbrough situation. Seems it was a “doing a favor” move by letting him go to the Yankees. I seem to recall the front office being a little too… player friendly in situations in the past, to the team’s detriment. Obviously the Yarbrough situation is miniscule in terms of the overall record, but right now its looking like a mistake. Jaysman 1
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2025 Posted March 30, 2025 But also im going to rip my eyes out if all im seeing here is complaining about Ryan fn Yarbrough into late April Jays24, Eat My Shatkins and John_Havok 2 1
BB17 Verified Member Posted March 30, 2025 Posted March 30, 2025 Attendance is going to be realllly weak the next 3 days. Be surprised if there is over 20K people in the building. Weather being atrocious doesn't help either.

Omar Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2025 Posted March 30, 2025 Getting the inside strike call against lefties will be a big help to Bassitt today.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2025 Posted March 30, 2025 buck's not wrong.....kirk would have saved Bassitt and the Jays a run there.
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2025 Posted March 30, 2025 If Heiny can't block balls, why is he on this team? Stangstag 1

BTS Community Moderator Posted March 30, 2025 Posted March 30, 2025 Was not expecting a 4-pitch walk from Sugano to kick things off
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2025 Posted March 30, 2025 OK....if Bichette is going to show plate discipline this year, We should probably extend him like 4 days ago. leaffie 1
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted March 30, 2025 Posted March 30, 2025 Bichette is an on base machine so far Spanky99 1
