1 more depth starter and 1 more mid-relief guy would’ve been nice, but I suppose the unsigned dudes want guaranteed roster spots and we couldn’t give that to them.

Add Lynn and Robertson right now. Stop f*cking around...

Both Spencer Turnbull and Lance Lynn remain unsigned which is a weird one.

Signing Jake Junis would have been nice for $4.5M. Seems like he's content with being a long man/spot starter. Would have been a nice depth arm to have.

I would callup Bloss and keep Y-Rod in the pen, because the Jays could really use the Y-Rod we saw today in the 7th/8th innings of a tight game.

Maybe we see Yesavage at some point as well. Try to move him along a bit more quicker, so he can be a potential callup in July/August maybe.

Yesavage? 😂

The first 15,000 fans tomorrow night get a Vladdy bobblehead doll . . . they might not even get 15 K actually in attendance.

Straight cash homie, you want to bet?

Yeah better to address issues earlier rather than later.

Sign Robertson for $7-8M and Lynn for around $4-5.

Its just so frustrating to feel like the roster is 90% there, and the front office/ownership refuses to get the finishing pieces.

Maybe saving money/payroll space to add at the deadline? Might be out of it by then though, who knows

I hated Rogers cheapening out in years past but I can't blame them for this year. Their is more than enough money allocated to have a playoff team, its just a matter of the FO spending it efficiently.

I felt this exact way in 2021, 2022 and 2023. During the prime windows of contention, can't mess around with a roster that is only 80-90% there. If there is an area of weakness, should be addressed rather than just keeping the status quo.

If there’s 1 clear area of weakness with this front office, its that they are a bit too risk-averse. All those teams needed just a bit more of a push, and could’ve been something special.

Lets just hope we aren’t sitting here on the last day of the season, 1 game out of a playoff spot, and wishing we had done just a bit more to strengthen the roster.
