Jeff Passan of ESPN has reported that 23-year-old Roki Sasaki has narrowed his selection down to three teams: the two southern California teams are unsurprising but the fact that the third is Toronto is a pleasant surprise. 

Sasak says he will make his decision in the next ten days.

To be honest, it's actually impressive that we're in the bronze position to land Roki.  Most free agents currently view the Jays as about the 28th best option in baseball.

IDK.  It's all up to him.  He just decided he didn't want to go to the Rangers, Yankees or Mets.  Wants more time to pick between the 3 he's still considering.

This would be the biggest steal imaginable because he doesn't even cost any significant money.  And you could maybe even trade another starter to free salary to add a bat.  JFC I refuse to get too excited but wow it would be huge.

Maybe Roki was a huge fan of Kawa growing up and 2015's run with Kawa as team mascot made him a Jays fan as a teen

The interesting bit is the Rangers had no deals lined up with international free agents, as they were all in on Roki.  I guess they will call on the guys the Roki winner had lined up.
