I tried telling everyone the Yankees were in trouble after the Judge injury

Add all the relievers you want but if you lose a 12 WAR player it’s going to hurt

Maybe someday you people will actually LISTEN

Yankees will be fine as long as Judge is not seriously injured for a long period of time. They have too much talent to not go on a run.

My takeaway from this has more to do with the Marlins. Weren't they like 15 or 16 games under .500 at one point?

They are playing some fantastic baseball.

Kinda salty that their is a Major League Baseball game being played 18 minutes away from where I live and I had no idea. Apparently its been a s*** show. But Bristol is where I shop bro : (

Red Sox are rolling now

Theyre gonna be there at the end I think

Completely perplexing as to why they didn't add more at the deadline. Imagine if they kept Devers too.

The projections don't like them very much so they should cool off eventually but a 3rd possible team definitely plays a factor in the division race.

At least we own the tiebreaker on top of a 3 game lead so I think we should be able to hold them off.

Cubs To Place Michael Soroka On IL With Shoulder Discomfort

August 4th, 2025 at 10:29pm CST • By Anthony Franco

Michael Soroka’s debut with the Cubs could hardly have gone worse. The righty only made it through two innings before departing the game with shoulder discomfort. Manager Craig Counsell said postgame that Soroka is headed to the 15-day injured list; the severity of the injury and recovery timeline aren’t clear

I dunno the Red Sox look pretty solid. They could use some bullpen and rotation depth but the top end of their roster is pretty damn good. It is kinda funny though they could use another guy exactly like Devers and gave him away for nothing.

Ironically...

Red Sox are 25-15 since the Devers trade

Giants are 15-25 since the Devers trade

Red Sox give Roman Anthony 8 years $130M - wow!

I guess buying one free agent year?

I'm worried about the red sox. They seem to be very well run and have tons of hitting prospects coming.

People were saying that about the Orioles 2 years ago and look at them now. Prospects are just that, prospects. Most don't pan out.

Yeah but the Orioles are cheap and neglected pitching. Red Sox have an ace and some other nice pieces not to mention a way bigger budget.

The orioles not being willing to buy or trade for pitching is baffling. I still think they will be good the next few years though.

The red sox will spend money, already have crochet and i hear good things about their pitching and hitting development.

Ohtani finally back to Unicorn status. Probably enough time left for him to pump up his pitching WAR and snag the MVP yet gain.

4 IP with 8 Ks today
also leading off and has a two run HR

Throwing 100 and hitting a 440 foot home run to partial opposite field. What the f***...

Escalators in the deal could push it as high as 230 million.

Good deal
