Masterbather Verified Member Posted August 2, 2025 Posted August 2, 2025 Well s***, at least we weren't the Yankees tonight.
BB17 Verified Member Posted August 2, 2025 Posted August 2, 2025 Yankees with one of the worst losses of the year. If you were a Yankees fan that type of loss is beyond infuriating. Orgfiller and hanton 1 1
GoBlue41 Verified Member Posted August 2, 2025 Posted August 2, 2025 Yankees lose again to the Marlins 0-2! :)
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2025 Posted August 2, 2025 Dominant pitching performance by the Marlins Gil is back and starts tomorrow for the Yankees
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2025 Posted August 2, 2025 I tried telling everyone the Yankees were in trouble after the Judge injury Add all the relievers you want but if you lose a 12 WAR player it’s going to hurt Maybe someday you people will actually LISTEN

They have too much talent to not go on a run. My takeaway from this has more to do with the Marlins. Weren't they like 15 or 16 games under .500 at one point? They are playing some fantastic baseball.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted August 3, 2025 Posted August 3, 2025 Kinda salty that their is a Major League Baseball game being played 18 minutes away from where I live and I had no idea. Apparently its been a s*** show. But Bristol is where I shop bro : (

Imagine if they kept Devers too. The projections don't like them very much so they should cool off eventually but a 3rd possible team definitely plays a factor in the division race. At least we own the tiebreaker on top of a 3 game lead so I think we should be able to hold them off.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted August 5, 2025 Posted August 5, 2025 Cubs To Place Michael Soroka On IL With Shoulder Discomfort August 4th, 2025 at 10:29pm CST • By Anthony Franco Michael Soroka’s debut with the Cubs could hardly have gone worse. The righty only made it through two innings before departing the game with shoulder discomfort. Manager Craig Counsell said postgame that Soroka is headed to the 15-day injured list; the severity of the injury and recovery timeline aren’t clear

They could use some bullpen and rotation depth but the top end of their roster is pretty damn good. It is kinda funny though they could use another guy exactly like Devers and gave him away for nothing.

Red Sox are 25-15 since the Devers trade Giants are 15-25 since the Devers trade Stangstag 1

The red sox will spend money, already have crochet and i hear good things about their pitching and hitting development.
Laika Community Moderator Posted August 6, 2025 Posted August 6, 2025 Ohtani finally back to Unicorn status. Probably enough time left for him to pump up his pitching WAR and snag the MVP yet gain. 4 IP with 8 Ks today also leading off and has a two run HR
