Ray Verified Member Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Interesting that Flaherty hasn't moved yet. Tigers are really waiting until the 11th hour in order to extract maximum value Gotta be Dodgers or Twins is my guess

Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Jay Harry - 2023 6th rounder out of Penn State, strong pro debut with the bat after signing last year, not so much this year at HiA. Has played SS/2B/3B and all three OF spots as a pro.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Tanner Scott to the Padres Marlins getting Snelling as part of the deal. 3:32pm: The Padres are finalizing a deal to acquire closer Tanner Scott from the Marlins, ESPN’s Jeff Passan reports. Craig Mish of SportsGrid and the Miami Herald adds that righty Bryan Hoeing is also going to San Diego in the deal. 3:37pm: The Padres are sending left-hander Robby Snelling and right-hander Adam Mazur to Miami, reports ESPN’s Alden Gonzalez. Mish adds that infielder/outfielder Graham Pauley is also part of the return, and Daniel Alvarez Montes of El Extra Base reports that infielder Jay Beshears is the fourth and final player in the return. It’s a major haul that’ll send three of the Padres’ top remaining prospects (Snelling, Mazur, Pauley) to Miami in exchange for the pair of relievers.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 This deadline has been so boring. Very little payoff for ignoring my job all afternoon. lol...

Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 KK will def get traded somewhere. Hoping Bassitt and Green get dealt too.

MikeM3 Verified Member Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Teams are much less precious with their overrated prospects this deadline. Just sending them overboard
AMS528 Verified Member Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Damn that's a lot Good prospects on down years. Snelling has been worse in every kind of way, but he's still just 20 in AA.
Laika Community Moderator Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Trevor Richards was a f***ing good soldier I will kind of miss him. Respect.

Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Being reported the Blue Jays have no plans to move big names or anyone signed beyond the season. - Feinsand I hope to hell that doesn't exclude Green and IFK.
Laika Community Moderator Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 KK will def get traded somewhere. Hoping Bassitt and Green get dealt too. They should just eat all of KK's contract if that is what it takes to get him on a contender

IKF is having a career year with the bat that he will likely never repeat again, they should absolutely look to trade him.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Roman Anthony scratched from today's lineup. Red Sox got something brewing.

They’ll move on from IKF when he has a 79 wRC+ in 303 plate appearances next July.
