The good news is there are lots of good pieces that can be moved to expedite a rebuild

 

The bad news is the ones who should’ve been most valuable are worthless right now

 

If Bo gets going he and Kikuchi will be coveted by playoff teams. No idea what to do with Vlad. If you’re gonna rebuild might as well hold and look for him to put out in a contract year

Moving guys for prospects at the deadline is a spot this team hasn’t been in for a long time. It’s a chance to bring in some young blood and rejuvenate the franchise

 

The worst thing to do would be just hold and let the assets deteriorate like Donaldson

 

Kinda like Christmas time as a kid. You are anxiously waiting to see what you get!

The farm system might be good enough to supplement a good team, but it does not have the pieces to kick-start a next window beginning in 2026.

 

If they sell on 2024, they are necessarily selling on 2025 as well since that is part of this core's window.

 

The payroll situation always pointed to a RELOAD for 2026.

 

I really cannot see the correct way forward here. Perhaps a scorched earth rebuild is the way? Trade 'em all including Varsho, Gausman.
