BTS Community Moderator Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 I feel like I would have pinch hit for KK here instead of Kirk
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 When you really think about it, the amount of times I've been wrong in a single GDT is astounding
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 I feel like I would have pinch hit for KK here instead of Kirk You're on fire today!
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 I feel like I would have pinch hit for KK here instead of Kirk Why are you still here
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 Why are you still here Site prevents me from banning myself
Jaysareus Verified Member Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 Basically gifted the game to the yankees
jaysthebest Verified Member Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 I didn't think I would say this, but I think Montoyo was better than JS.
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 Schneider bud....Judge got enough balls to walk twice the last AB
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 JS needs to up his game. At least kick some dirt on the plate, sit down on home plate, etc
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 Not nearly as mad and this one after winning the first 2. Still feels like we threw it away though. Poopy.
Doubleplay21 Verified Member Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 TV dinner lost this game. He was trash
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 At least Yimi, Romano, and Green didn't overextend themselves
Steeljays Verified Member Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 Can't give away games. With a day off tomorrow simply poor coaching to give this game away
M.E. Verified Member Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 The fact that Boone lasted the whole game and JS booted with this ump is crazy
BlueJays Verified Member Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 He walked Soto and gave up a single with bases loaded to judge. That's not exactly a fire able offense. You are right. Schneider replaced Berrios in just 3 innings and he's still here.
Delgalladay Verified Member Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 It's frustrating because you know we'll blow way more games with a 9th inning lead than we'll come back to win in the 9th.
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 Well, three series wins in a row I guess? Should be happy but what a f***ing gut punch losing a sweep like that and having to watch the Yankees celebrate a win the bunch of goddamn goofs
bronson44 Verified Member Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 Ya the sweep was right there for the taking. f***ing sucks but at least we hung a couple losses on them.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 Still can't wrap my head around not asking a mid-30s reliever to go 3 times in 3 days in this situation. Total of 21 pitches the last two. I get not being reckless, but at some point winning the game actually matters.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 JS getting tossed when the umpire was basically spoon feeding strikes that were out of the zone to Mayza is laughable. Should have said this s*** 6 innings ago when Stroman was getting calls 5 inches from the plate. Horrible loss, and right before an off day, which hurts even more. Hopefully the pen is fully rested by Friday. I realize the Jays are in capable of playing in blowout games because they can't score enough and the pitching doesn't give up enough for that to happen too often, but need to bring the rehabbing pitchers who struggled with command in their rehab stints in less stressful situations in their first outings.
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 I'm shocked Vlad didn't get the ball up in the air there. Weird to see him hit a grounder.
