Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2024 Posted April 19, 2024 For sure Just hard not to when we didn't want Pearson sent down in the first place then we're on the verge of sweeping the Yankees and wish we'd had him to try and close it out In any case time to move on to the next one. Was a good homestand. Even if Pearson was with us, he wasn't closing anything out, he'd have been Sega#s replacement, it's just unfortunate Green wasn't available.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2024 Posted April 19, 2024 Its true, of all the times Pearson got sent down, this was the one time he actually deserved to stay. Gotta be frustrating/demoralizing as a player to finally feel good after years of struggling, getting good results, and you immediately get sent down. The computers don't care about feelings.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2024 Posted April 19, 2024 The computers don't care about feelings. Tell it you're gonna pull the plug and watch how quickly they get feelings.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2024 Posted April 19, 2024 The computers don't care about feelings. If you want to cheer for a team that doesn't use computers and analytics - maybe check out the Rockies, or some of the other teams near the bottom of the standings every year. Seriously. Those are the teams using "common sense" and "gut feelings" the most.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2024 Posted April 19, 2024 Michael Kay implies that we were cheating lol The Jays had one of the worst offenses in the league through the first week of play. It's almost like they regressed to their mean and weren't going to be hopeless the whole time? The Yankees pitching sucked too lol.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 19, 2024 Posted April 19, 2024 Michael Kay implies that we were cheating lol Did this dipshit think the team was going to continue scoring like two runs a game? They didn’t even score a lot in the RC series.
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted April 19, 2024 Posted April 19, 2024 Well, the guy has had a front row seat to a lot of cheating.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2024 Posted April 19, 2024 Michael Kay implies that we were cheating lol Yankees fans absolutely HATE the jays. Since we have Springer on the team we obviously must be cheating any time we win. If Vlad starts hitting well then obviously he’s on juice. Romano throwing 100? Spider tack
hanton Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2024 Posted April 19, 2024 Michael Kay implies that we were cheating lol someone needs to tell him Rodon just sucks
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2024 Posted April 19, 2024 Michael Kay implies that we were cheating lol Says a lot about the Jays offense when they are accused of cheating because they fouled pitches off, not because they actually did any damage.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 19, 2024 Posted April 19, 2024 Says a lot about the Jays offense when they are accused of cheating because they fouled pitches off, not because they actually did any damage. yeah this is hilarious they score like 4 runs "must be cheating"
