Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Thornton's s***, he's only good for single innings in a close game, or mop up duty.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 This bullpen is f***ing embarrassing. They just get their s*** kicked in on a nightly basis. Yeah, it’s hard to watch.
BlueJays Verified Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Thornton-Richards combo. Buckle up.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Oh hey... I heard Thorton has a new crazy slider that made him an elite pitcher LOL. We have a bunch of delusional idiots covering this team.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 That’s it when your the best team in baseball.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Thornton literally out here getting throat f***ed. I thought this was PG show.
leaffie Verified Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 This bullpen was crap last year and they didnt do a single thing to fix it.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 That Stanton HR was insane. Dude's so strong.
Dagagad Verified Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 He’s trash too. Oh my bad, they should have used Beasley there! He’s the other guy whose gone multiple innings. Charlie is such a dumb ass. Beasley should never have been sent down by Charlie!
Pinkfloid Verified Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Thornton is objectively awful. How can we consider ourselves a contender when guys like him are our first option out of the pen midway through a 1 run game with a team we're desperately chasing in our division? It makes no f***ing sense.
mellowgold Verified Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Charlie one batter too late, as always. I mean, the damage was already done, but HR-HR-2B all smoked. Do whatever you have to to stall for enough time to get the next punching bag warmed up.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Thornton's s***, he's only good for single innings in a close game, or mop up duty. I’ve said a few times now. He belongs nowhere handy to a MLB team.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 We are not on the same level as the Yankees. There's a major gap in every facet of the game (hitting/starting pitching/bullpen).
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 oh great now we get to watch richards
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 This bullpen is f***ing embarrassing. They just get their s*** kicked in on a nightly basis. Have you seen who is in it. Thornton, Richards, Lawrence, Cimber, Garcia, Phelps...then we have Romano and Mayza We have 2 good RPs and 2 soft tossing tricksters, then a bunch of soft tossing minor leaguers
RobinThicc Verified Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Only a matter of time before thornton turned back into a s*** baller
Dagagad Verified Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Whether we like it or not, it’s a conscious policy of this front office to put very little resources into the pen. That’s the way they do it. It was way worse last year and they traded trash to get cimber and richards. We probably should just reconcile ourselves to that and maybe not always pretend it’s Charlie’s fault that he picked crap pitcher 1 vs crap pitcher 2.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 It was an issue going into the season. It remains an issue now. I don’t know how much longer you can wait. Its a pretty good chance we get one of the wild card spots now that there’s 3 but we can’t just be punting games to first place. Especially at home.

I mean, right now the Yankees are on pace to be like the best team in mlb history. There probably should be a gap.
BuffaloWings Verified Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Couldnt wait to get that bullpen started up when it was 1-0. Should have let Stripling pitch a few more.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Have you seen who is in it. Thornton, Richards, Lawrence, Cimber, Garcia, Phelps...then we have Romano and Mayza We have 2 good RPs and 2 soft tossing tricksters, then a bunch of soft tossing minor leaguers I’m very aware of who is in the Blue Jays bullpen yes. My eyes bleed regularly.

5ToolPhenom Verified Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 I dunno, I mean their lineup isn't (or at least shouldn't be) as good as ours. But man, their approach tonight has been fantastic. lol you're delusional
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 Well at least there's a 3rd wildcard this year they might be able to squeak into by a game or two f*** off douchebag.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 I still have to look into how the third wild card works lol.
keggy Verified Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 If Charlie started Tapia we'd be winning 7-6 right now.

EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted June 18, 2022 Posted June 18, 2022 the thornton to richards special lmfao
