That would make sense. Kirk's bat in the line up more often when he's not catching will help soften the loss of Springer's bat somewhat.

He's a lot quicker on the inner half it appears. He's getting his hands in and driving through the ball instead of rolling over a ground ball to the left side like he did so much last year. That weight loss is going to do him a world of good.
