Ray Verified Member Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 Figure it’d be worthwhile to get a thread going with the schedule and non-roster invitees list released:

Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 I think I wanna see the non roster invites just as much as the roster invites. Great time to be a Jays fan lol.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 I've heard reports that Josh Palacios was hitting a ton of atom balls at the alt site. Watch and learn folks.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 I thought Jays cut Warmoth loose.
Ray Verified Member Posted February 13, 2021 Author Posted February 13, 2021 I thought Jays cut Warmoth loose. Last I read, they were developing him as a utility player (INF/OF). Of note, he had a good showing in Arizona Fall League in 2019, but I think he’s been all but written off as org depth.
King Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 Kirk looks like a 40 year old vetrin. Damn that hairline. Hard to believe he just turned 22.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 (edited) The f***. He looks incredible. Normally I'd be concerned about a player who's got a big power tool dropping a ton of mass but the kid is still yoked. Tree trunk arms. Edited February 13, 2021 by TwistedLogic
L54 Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 Kirk needed to shed some pounds to prove he was serious and he did. He should train Vlad next offseason.
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 The f***. He looks incredible. Normally I'd be concerned about a player who's super reliant on his power dropping a ton of mass but the kid is still yoked. Tree trunk arms. I like that silver workout shirt. Going to see if I can find it, unless the China man had it/or team had it printed
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 He looks not fat...? Could be because he's flexing and wearing a loose fitting t-shirt
connorp Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 He looks not fat...? Could be because he's flexing and wearing a loose fitting t-shirt He’s clearly still thick, I wouldn’t call it yoked...but dude seemingly is putting in the work. Hopefully it translates to success.

Hopefully it translates to success. True...but when it comes to losing weight its always better to lose weight slowly. I doubt if he'll ever be slim, but carrying the correct weight for his body type is more important than being "slim"! Being with the big club will be a lot easier for him to maintain his regimen for losing weight than in the minors on the long bus trips. I wonder if he got heavy due to minor leagues diet of burgers and fries or was he always this way?

Not speaking from a science standpoint as it’s not my field of education but it’s shocking how many pounds are in the belly. I’m someone that’s worked out all my life and I have the typical jock build but when I hit 30ish I started getting the typical post-prime belly if I go periods of not working out and watching what I eat. I literally gain like 25-30lbs and in a loose shirt it’s hard to even tell, it’s nowhere else on my body. I think there was probably plenty of opportunity for Kirk to lose weight there and that wouldn’t really throw anything out of whack
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 It's the damn baseball players and their wearing hats all the time. Your scalp needs sunshine lol.

Your scalp needs sunshine lol. *shrug* I've worn hats a LOT in my life, and I'm still full head of hair at 42... I mean, it's getting greyer by the second, but it's still there!
King Old-Timey Member Posted February 13, 2021 Posted February 13, 2021 Tellez was at least in his mid 20s when that photo was taken. Kirk just turned 22. Worse hairline than Auston Matthews!
wilko Old-Timey Member Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 Jesus. I knew his hair was f***ed but I didn't know it was that bad. Time to call it a day and shave that to the pavement.

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 Holy crap... that's a lot of dudes at camp, lol.

Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 Baseball just has too many players tied to their organizations. Like it's not even close in comparison to other sports. Cut the draft to single digit rounds and have only 1 affiliated minor league team. Flame away lol.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted February 17, 2021 Posted February 17, 2021 Once again nobody has the courage to wear 69. COWARDS!
