He’s probably good as a backup infielder. He’s getting way too much playing time. Has no business being at DH, Fisher should get the nod. Or rest someone else at DH and upgrade the defense with Espinal/Davis

Nobody was "excited" bout Villar. People understandably viewed him as an upgrade over Panik/Espinal. He's been far worse than any reasonable expectation, however.

That seems a pretty clear sign of a guy who is really struggling with his confidence. It's painful to watch, and you can imagine he really wants to contribute. Reminds me of Steve Pearce how he struggled so bad when he first came to the Jays, and a couple times was literally on the bench holding back tears, he was so dejected.

Absolute zero excuse for Fisher not playing. He’s actually been very good as well. I don’t know why Montoyo hates him. .400 On Base and 900 OPS. Get Biggio at second and Fisher in RF. Jonathan Davis can play against lefties and play Defense for him late in the game.

There's at least a possibility Rowdy will be back for the playoffs. A couple days ago, I thought he was gone for the season.

I'm really glad Buck Showalter used his gut for making managing decisions. Gut moves like not putting in Zack Britton and instead using Ubaldo Jimenez really made it worth it.
