Slade Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Author Posted September 12, 2020 Captain Kirk's debut. No more Raptors playoff which means a new THICC boy in the house.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Villar ugh. Give Fisher some more abs already.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Back to the questionable lineups, with a sprinkle of playing a vetrin over someone with actual potential. This is more Montoyo's style.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Charles: "UGG!!! KIRK CATCH!! CATCH HIT 8!!!!"
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Author Posted September 12, 2020 If Kirk starts hitting right off the bat, I can't see any reason why he wouldn't take the majority of the time away from Jansen.
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 I am here to support Captain Kirk.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 82% of Blue Jays fans are dumb Sportsnet commenters or Reddit users or in the Jays Facebook group.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 If Kirk starts hitting right off the bat, I can't see any reason why he wouldn't take the majority of the time away from Jansen. Because its not just about hitting and defense, a catcher has to learn how to work with the pitching staff and he’s really young + doesn’t speak english well.
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Catching Robbie Ray can’t be an easy first assignment.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 82% of Blue Jays fans are dumb Sportsnet commenters or Reddit users or in the Jays Facebook group. Is this a meme or do you love porkins there as much as you're portraying.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Wow @ the NY Mets batting average. Almost all their players seem to be killing it. This might be a rough one for Ray and the Jays...
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 First out! Ray up to 97 mph
King Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Boxcar sees similarities between himself and kirk that's why hes jerking him off so much
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Since when does Ray hit 97
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 I’ve seen enough. Release McGuire.
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Man, I wish Biggio would bunt a few times for base hits. Once you show teams you will take singles/doubles, they will have to change their shift. Then you can start hitting freely and pull the ball as needed.
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Lugo’s curveball is insane.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Is this a meme or do you love porkins there as much as you're portraying. Idk, is it memeworthy to like good players who are underrated by everyone?
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Ok, anyone who doubted Kirk's catching ability, come forward for punishment. He's even getting Ray to throw harder.
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 I like how he doesn’t hold his glove on the edges as if Robbie has any chance of aiming spots. Dude just airs it out. He puts the glove down after showing the target, so even if Ray misses by a mile it’s still a chance for strike if borderline. Already happened twice in 6 outs.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Since when does Ray hit 97 Ray's average fastball velocity in his career is 94.1 mph, he's hit 96-97 pretty routinely throughout. The stuff is good.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 Kirk just absolutely butchered what should have been strike 1 to Rosario.
BlueRocky Old-Timey Member Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 It’s just a walk guys, relax.
