Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 Stros players have been hit 7 times in 3 games. I assume this will carry on for a while and their pitchers will start beaning guys back. This was inevitable once Manfred let Astros players escape with no punishment. The players from other teams would use the only recourse they have.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 DBacks using Vancouver as a contingency plan
Laika Community Moderator Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 DBacks using Vancouver as a contingency plan Also they are using Dalton Pompey as a contingency plan
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 DBacks using Vancouver as a contingency plan I wish it were Calgary.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 Also they are using Dalton Pompey as a contingency plan Olympic qualifying is in Arizona a couple days before the season starts.. I bet they have told him that they will make a decision by March 21st and when he gets cut he'll go straight to Team Canada.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 I wish it were Calgary. I wish Calgary were building a new stadium (not that it would be a baseball stadium) but you stupid f***s don't know how to vote (likely not you, but for sure your neighbours).
Carlos Danger Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 Also they are using Dalton Pompey as a contingency plan And Travis Snider, it is a what could have been, but never was Blue Jays OF reunion.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 I think this is pretty neat. Yes I know the obvious jokes, haha why are the Orioles practicing with crowd noise when half of their games won't have any. You're hilarious. With that said I think it's cool that teams simulate scenarios like this and I wonder if every team does it.
P2F Old-Timey Member Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 Practicing for road games no doubt.

Beans Verified Member Posted February 27, 2020 Posted February 27, 2020 Tim Tebow, whose parents were missionaries in the Philippines when he was born, will play for the Philippines in next month's World Baseball Classic.

glory Old-Timey Member Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 I wonder if a tanking team is going to give Tebow a chance before he decides to hang it up. Might sell a few tickets even though he will not be good. He’s popular in the States.

Beans Verified Member Posted February 28, 2020 Posted February 28, 2020 Tim Tebow is a possessed narcissist.
BillyTheKid Verified Member Posted March 1, 2020 Posted March 1, 2020 Chris Davis definitely back on the Adderall, nothing to lose now...

King Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Was just looking again and f***, the Dodgers have an amazing roster this year. I will probably watch the Dodgers more than any other team this season. There is nothing like throwing on a late night west coast Dodgers game before bed

Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 Jose Bautista coming back as a two way player. He's hitting 94 on the mound and also learned a slider from Stroman. Good luck to him.

Good luck to him. Definitely a cool story, we shall see if there is enough left in his bat for the two way player plan to work out for him.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted March 2, 2020 Posted March 2, 2020 If Steven Matz is available as MLBTR says then we should be all over that. He'd be an excellent 5th starter and 2nd lefty.
