Yup, after the game he was asked why Giles wasn't available and said he wasn't 100%.

There's a possibility the Jays don't want Giles pitching much before the deadline and Montoyo is just telling the media he's "not 100%" to as the smoke and mirror excuse on why he isn't using him. In highsight - not the best use of words....although I highly doubt that effects his value.

 

There's a simple discussion with the other GM to day "oh f***, Giles is fine, we just didn't want to risk injury before the trade deadline. Charlie's a nice guy, but he's not too smart. He just made that up to justify why he didn't bring him into a game because some dumb ass casual fans are still all over him every time we lose - when it's obviously we're tanking."
