I feel like you guys are gonna be mightily shocked when Kimbrel ends up with 5/75 or 4/70. He is going to be paid handsomely.

 

That wouldn't shock me, as it's within range of what I ultimately think he'll get.

 

Also, that's a far cry from $100M+.

JFC. At this prices I can see why teams are calling in for Stroman / Sanchez. I am happy for Happ. Not happy its with the Yankees but happy how this has turned out for him. I have a soft spot for players* that come back to the Jays after being traded.

 

*they must be good. If Goins ever comes back, f***..

That's way too expensive for us and a lot of other teams. The Red Sox giving 4/68 to Eovaldi and now the Yankees 3/51 to Happ, they're playing in a different park than the majority of the league with these contracts.

 

The Yankees are far from done this offseason, they are going to have a real powerhouse next season and beyond. The evil empire is back.

I actually agree with you but I can see why teams would be weary of giving a guy like him the third year. Most likely the Rangers break even and they'll be fine with that, but there is some surplus value upside there and it's not a ridiculous gamble to take.

I have no idea why the Jays would be interested in Lynn. Mediocre, doesn't fit team timeline. And I'm not even fat-phobic like BTS.

They just had Brody Von ( I am in a Boy band) Von Brody on MLB TV. If they dont' land Reamulto, sounds like Martin would be a very good fit. Get er done Atkins! Here is hoping JT doesn't go to the Mets.
