Governator Community Moderator Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 I f***ing hate when I see people texting WHILE driving. Its f***ing crazy. You'll see some idiot driving slowly, veering out of the lane a bit, and see them looking down at their lap. I hate it. I watched a mom driving her SUV through my son's elementary school parking lot (this is kindergarten - gr 8) 10min before bell rings, phone on steering wheel, head down just reading or texting while slowly driving through the lot. Didn't see her after I dropped my kids off but pissed me right off. There's a walking pathway between cars in the lot right where she was driving. Some people need a smack, man or woman.

Anything distracting and driving actually in general. People need to understand that you are potentially driving a 4000 pound metal death machine
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 So then we all agree if you're gonna start snapping pictures and dropping names on social media that we've just found a better target for the city's internet heroes.
CBlake Verified Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 There are incidents at every game to varying degrees. If he had just stayed in his seat and security came, he most likely would have just been thrown out. The police would have shadowed security and only got involved if the guy made a stink, got physical or something. Simple as that.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 I don't think this will deter anyone. If you looked at some of the fan videos of the walk off HR you'll see plenty of beer and popcorn being thrown. Some idiots even threw them down on the Jays bullpen before they could even get out. edit: here you go, watch the whole thing to see how much s*** rains down
CHRIS Verified Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Just saw this version of the beer thrower, and it definitely looks like the main suspect Frisbees it out onto the field.

There was a bunch of trash on the field after the Jays won. Toilet paper rolls being thrown from the upper decks, popcorn, towels, drinks, you name it. The outfield was a mess.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Yes it will. It's national news, everyone is watching, they have to do something. No way they come out of it saying we don't have enough evidence to convict anyone. Exactly, the MLB is asking for a prosecution, someone is certainly getting charged.
CBlake Verified Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 Exactly, the MLB is asking for a prosecution, someone is certainly getting charged. The Ontario crown does not pander to MLB. They will only charge him if they have a reasonable expectation of conviction. Also quite reasonable they likely just want this to go away.

I wouldn't even drink if I went to a game now... the line-ups for draught beer are going to be massive, lol. One dickhead ruins it for everybody.

glory Old-Timey Member Posted October 6, 2016 Posted October 6, 2016 It's a gift and a curse. The rowdiness of the Toronto fans is both great to watch and might get in the other team's head. The curse being that there are a bunch of morons in that group.
