I have attended Spring Training, Playoffs, over 300 MLB games in my life and I have never thrown anything on the field or been part of a manhunt like this guy so you have failed you ass pelican.

I doubt it. People were thrown out but way to many peoole were throwing stuff and nobody was targeted. Unfortunately a baby got hit. But bringing a baby to a baseball game. A playoff baseball game was incredibly stupid for a variety of reasons. Still unfortunate though and shouldn't have happened.

I thought it was him myself. He's clearly drinking out of a plastic cup but he could've had the that in his other hand. I'm guessing the police have some better video from surveillance cameras or something.

Banister was getting police to toss out fans near the dugout that were chirping him too much but that's all I remember when I was there in that cluster f***.

Assault in Canada does not require physical contact.

s. 265 of the criminal code states that a person commits assault when: ( he attempts or threatens, by an act or a gesture, to apply force to another person, if he has, or causes that other person to believe on reasonable grounds that he has, present ability to effect his purpose

 

He could also be charged with 267(a) assault with a weapon. If the Crown Prosecutor's office proceeds by indictment (instead of summarily), he would not be eligible for a conditional sentence under 742.1. If that charge were to result in a conviction, he could go to jail .
