Amazing that there are fans dumb enough to criticize Gibbons when he made all of the right decisions and we should be celebrating.

Keep it going Jays, some of us appreciate the hard work that you put in.

Guys help.

My orgasm hasn't subsided yet.

call a doctor if it is more than 4 hours

Viagra only last 4 hours. Cialis can last 48 hours. Hope it wasn't the later

Actually incredible how well everything came together. The defense was out of this world and the pitching was the nastiest I've seen in one game in a while. Stroman, Cecil, Grilli, Biagini and Liriano all had their breaking s*** on point.

It's funny to think about how much stress the pitching decisions caused us. In the end, everyone pitched so well that Gibby could have thrown them out in any order and it would have worked out. With the benefit of hindsight, it's clear that Gibby had the game mapped out in advance. Stroman for 6, Biagini and Cecil for the 7th, Grilli for the 8th, Osuna for the 9th and Liriano if Stroman falters or it goes to extras. Minus the Liriano part, these are the exact same assignments he's been using since the Benoit injury. If we had been privy to this plan before the game, many of us (including me) would have flipped at such an unimaginative, conservative strategy but it worked out great. It all comes down to the players and they answered the bell. This was a nice reminder that even without Benoit, the bullpen can be pretty sick when everyone has their proper rest.

Got to bed late. Up early. Still amped up. Have watched Edwins HR and the electric crowd reaction about 50 times. What a moment as a Jays fan. Thanks boys. Keep it rollin'. We have unfinished business.

We have one hell of a 4-man playoff rotation, we probably won't ever have a huge discrepancy with the pitching matchups. If Osuna is healthy and Liriano turns in to the bullpen weapon that we saw tonight we could be a very tough out.

I don't if he can sustain it but the speed of the way Liriano was working with that stuff and mix was just fun to watch. He had them flailing. I felt confident watching him thinking we can go 6 IP with this guy if we need to.

I haven't seen a lot of Liriano since the acquisition, but last night he looked phenomenal. A nice piece to add to the bullpen, assuming that's his destination for the next round.

What a game to be at. My buddies and I went to "For Your Eyes Only" to celebrate and didn't get back home to London until 3:30. Up at 7 for work and here we are. Dont regret a second of it

It's ridiculous that they got two actual prospects just to take him on.

Helped the team reach the playoffs

Improved their starting rotation for 2017

Helped bolster the farm system (heck he might even be worthy of a comp pick if he walks after next year too)

Just yes

Edwin is going to get the credit he deserves for this but the pitching staff won this game for us.

Hell yes

Amazing performance by Stroman and the BP and especially Liriano

They all want Buck fired because of not putting Britton in.

Can't say they're wrong about that, honestly.

Gibbons used his closer the right way

Showalter is a f'n moron

Britton should have pitched the 9th and 10th

I love Donaldson in these celebrations. Everyone else is spraying beer and Donaldson is just pounding the beers back

Don't waste beer that's not cool

I don't mind using Givens Brach and Oday before him but even when it was runners on first and third and 1 out he should be in because there is a great chance he either strikes EE out or gets a Double play.

Fair enough

He certainly should have been used over Duensing and Jimenez though by that point thoygh

That's what's crazy

Yeah it's justifiable to use those other good relievers and hope to take the lead before bringing in Britton, but once you get a through them, you have to get him in there and try to squeeze six outs out of him.
