I'm not worried about Toronto in the coming years. Let them win now, as the next few years they'll be getting pumbled. Saunders, Bautisda and Ecarnacion are gone after this year. All they'll have is Tulowitski and Donaldson, who are good but do better because of the Tornoto lineup. They don't have the farm that could replace these guys is the thing

He also forgot to mention that the Orioles' farm is even worse. Oops!

 

Something is wrong with the O's. They are not playing the way they should be. Every possible thing is going wrong at the same time. Pitching sucks, hitting sucks, all kinds of little blunders here and there... and on top of that we're getting some unlucky calls. All the bad mojo in the world is concentrated in this team right now.

 

Unfortunately, I have tickets to the game on Tuesday. If I didn't, I'd totally just tune out for another week, because it's very statistically unlikely that a team would lose 12+ games in a row (it's happened, but not often, even for terrible teams) so I'd at least get to see them win a game or two before the season's over.

 

How long has the hitting slump been going on now? 2, 3 weeks? Four?

 

Some people, possibly on this very board, might call that "something" regression to the mean. The Orioles blow and your dumn for thinking otherwise.

 

Boston's rotation still isn't good and their pen is patch work right now with Uehera and Kimbrel out.

 

Toronto's pen has blown a bunch of leads and their about to lose Sanchez to his innings limit. He'll help out the pen but that hurts their rotation.

 

I like where we are at.

They could be but on Friday night I had a fair share of posters say the Jays will be in first by the All Star break and one said guaranteed. Yet they not only not in first are father back then before. The only thing with Toronto is yes they are two back but they are 4 back in the loss column you can make up wins but you can not make up losses.

What's the health outlook for Bautista, Encarnacion, and Tulo? I feel like those guys are always getting hurt or nursing nagging injuries.

 

I just find it so funny that some of these guys actively hope for injuries to good players just so their s***** club can sneak into the playoffs where literally no one wants to see them.
