Its more the timing of it, there really was no need to make this decision now. If they really were set on moving on from him, they could've at least entertained using him as a throw in peice in an off season trade before ultimately going the DFA route.
Hmmm, so Easton Lucas has more value? Dillon Tate? There has to be more to it than this given that we are at the end of the season and he had options left. Could've been SP depth next season at the least, while hoping for a velo bump over the winter.
