BTS Community Moderator Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 I think Ruiz had a bigger following the Francisco. There was a lot of butt hurt people when he was not getting called up Maybe. I remember a long thread on the old forum about how Francisco could be the new EE/Bautista after he came in and hit a few bombs.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Maybe. I remember a long thread on the old forum about how Francisco could be the new EE/Bautista after he came in and hit a few bombs. ECJF was obsessed with Ruiz maybe thats what i am remembering
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2016 Author Posted April 21, 2016 Maybe. I remember a long thread on the old forum about how Francisco could be the new EE/Bautista after he came in and hit a few bombs. Yeah but we make fun of those people all the time and give them verbal smack downs at the first opportunity. Why does that exclude us from making fun of dumb Oriole fans? I'd understand your point if those people participating in this thread are making fun of dumb OH posters ironically, but even if they are dumb they are free to hate the Orioles and their fans. Your wet blanket attempt is denied. Eat dicks.
KevinGregg Verified Member Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Lololol Holy f*** the butthurt just flows like water in Orioles land. Actually they made several good points in that thread which have been discussed at length here: Bautista is a whiny **** Lawrie and Reyes are douche bags Getting JD was a steal Early 90s teams were fun to watch Gibby hobbling out of the dugout is painful Top 4 hitters good - others bad

They also frequently wish injury on him. - OK - ...that intensified their hatred? How petty. - one guy said that - applies to like a million managers. At least Gibby is a funny and cool guy despite being an idiot. Buck Showalter is a whiny, miserable, old *******. Remember when he threatened to boycott a game at RC because a ball kicked up and hit one of his guys in the face? Because, you know, balls taking bad bounces never happens anywhere else. - yeah but it kind of matters how good the hitters are and it doesn't account for the defense in the lineup. Martin is an average hitter but an excellent defender. Replacing him with a better bat but average or worse defender would be a net loss. Bautista, EE, Donaldson are all conceivably top 10 bats in the AL.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Chris Colabello, Randy Ruiz and especially Juan Francisco You mean ECJF?

But they cheer for Manny Machado who gets in fights because he gets tagged too hard and throws bats at people.
jb22 Verified Member Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 The fact that a lot of them hate us as much/more than the yankees now is likely a good thing. It means we are worthy of being hated/jealous of, like when everyone hated them dominate late 90's yanks

I don't feel negatively towards him. But f*** me, if you're still mad that Stroman threw at someone two years ago despite him being a great character, you have something wrong with you. Be consistent.

I like watching him play. Matter of fact he and O'Day (who I also think is a huge tool) are two of my favorite players to watch play, despite my personal feelings toward them. My point is that they hate Bautista when Machado has probably done the douchiest things in baseball in the past few years.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 I don't see how Lawrie and Reyes are douchebags

That's another thing that bothers me about those idiots. No problem throwing out steroid accusations at Bautista while Chris Davis went from perennial ******** to a 50 hr bat, no questions at all. Or how they will hate "A-Roid" but love Brady Anderson and Albert Belle. No consistency. Anything an Oriole does or says is completely acceptable.

Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Me neither http://blogimages.thescore.com/mlb/files/2012/02/jerkball.jpg That's actually pretty funny IMO. He's still a douche though. He reminds me of the guy that you see at the bar who is trying to fight people, drinks too much, and gets overly aggressive with chicks. I don't mind Reyes though. I thought he was a lot of fun. I know he had the DV stuff going on but I'm not really going to speculate on that.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2016 Posted April 21, 2016 Under 'Douchebag' in the dictionary, there a picture of Lawrie in there.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2016 Author Posted April 22, 2016 Retard referring to Pillar He's not really a CF either. He'd be a defensive star at the corners. Gibbon is moving up my worst manager list FAST, the guy is a complete jerk and might be the worse at milking the review challenge. The entire Blue Jays organization is in the toilet. What do you expect? Hopefully a lot more gloves will break for you guys. You'll need the help. lolol Oh snap, Mark can break this game wide open. This is almost a repeat of the top of the inning. Do I smell a walk with the bases loaded here? Jobbed! THAT was a ball..are you kidding me? You have GOT to be kidding me. That was NOT a strike. Holy F. Those last two pitches were at the shins. UNbelievable. Stuff like this makes me think umpires are betting on games or something. Should have walked in a run... Tillman didn't get that and it was not a strike till now REALLY! It's been proven that officials have shaved on games, just saying. Typical. Cant get the extra runs and the K (which wasn't a K) turns the entire inning around. One awful call like that can change the complexion of an inning, and even the game. That's total F'ing garbage. Completely changes the game. I'm so sick of this garbage. We need robot umps behind the plate NOW. - LYK RITE NOW TOLLY UNEXCEPTIBUL!!!!111 Un be lievable We were flat-out robbed that inning. That damned pitcher was on the ropes, and the umpire let him off. Robots can't be framed. If I was Buck, I would be sitting in the clubhouse right now. Earl would not let umpires get away with that garbage in the first inning. I think I'm going to start a new stat: the RDU. Runs Destroyed by an Umpire. Credit the home plate ump with 2 last inning (1 denying the RBI walk twice, 1 that would have scored on the GBDP). It's about damn time Buck shows an ump up. We go about our business game after game and it does us ZERO good. During Bautista's AB where he started 0-2 on clearly inside curveballs, much further out of the zone than Estrada's pitch to Trumbo That was a nasty pitch. Where did that come from? Looked like a splitter. Two outstanding curveballs to Bautista. Better get that pitch... Hahahahahahha eat it Bautista. Just because you crowd the plate doesn't mean you can take strikes that happen to be near your body. The ump wasn't fooled, which frankly surprises me. Lmfao. No consistency. Retards.

Dick_Pole Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 There's only one update I want to see from that place. Some guy named ECOF starting a thread called "The Playoffs Will Be Easy To Make". From that point onward we will know the Orioles are doomed.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted April 23, 2016 Posted April 23, 2016 I saw the new pee wee movie.

I know this interweb thing is hard to understand. You're looking for the "Orioles Hangout". I get the feeling you'll feel right at home.
BlueJays Verified Member Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 Orioles hangout must be having a field day with Bautista getting a solid punch lol
