CHRIS Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Can't wait. A lot of casuals probably going to spend most of the morning preparing their anger for every word that comes out of his mouth.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I can't wait for all the juicy questions.
Boogerloo Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Best question I have seen so far... Why is it Sha-pie-row and not Sha-pee-row?
CHRIS Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I can't wait for all the juicy questions. I don't know much about his speaking manner. Wonder if he'll be more open/candid than AA. I'm hoping for a level of openness that is somewhere in between JPR and AA.
Laika Community Moderator Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Hopefully not every question will be about Anthopoulos. Focus on the future - what Shapiro is about, what he wants to do, etc.
Slade Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I hope Barry Davis is there to ask the hard hitting questions.

EMK19 Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Best question I have seen so far... Why is it Sha-pie-row and not Sha-pee-row? I used to have a teacher in Jr. High who's last name was Shapiro and everyone always called him Sha-pee-row.. Not sure if that was the actual correct way of saying it but He never corrected his students on that matter so... This Sha-pie-row thing is really odd to me, lol.

The head lawyer in the O.J. defense, Robert Shapiro, was always referred to as Sha-pee-row. That's what cemented that pronounciation for me.

My Accounting Cases professor, this past summer, is name Joel Shapiro and it's pronounced Sha-peer-oh. This entire Sha-pie-roh thing is odd.

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 If it doesn't fit, you must acquit (Other lawyer said that I think) Johnny Cochrane. He really milked his 15 minutes of fame. A lot of people forgot that he wasn't the head of the defense.
fireballW Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 will someone have a link?? Yes a link would be very nice.
Art Vandelay Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 Johnny Cochrane. He really milked his 15 minutes of fame. A lot of people forgot that he wasn't the head of the defense. And wasn't even the one responsible for coming up with the line.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 And wasn't even the one responsible for coming up with the line. Oh no? Didn't realize that. I guess the defense just really liked him as a showman and figured he should deliver it.
blurnandez Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I hope someone in the terrible Toronto sports media actually asks him some good questions. Maybe John Lott can.
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I hope somebody asks if they're keeping all there scouts/draft team.
THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I hope somebody asks if they're keeping all there scouts/draft team. I want to know that as well, that's crucial. Just change the up the pitching coaches in AA/AAA to get all the pitchers to be Saber wizards.

Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 I hope somebody asks if they're keeping all there scouts/draft team. "At this time, we have no plans to make any big changes..." You can couch anything with 'at this time' and it won't be a lie later.
