  1. I haven't been here for a long time, and after recently rejoining the forum, I'm remembering why: The website keeps signing me out. I'm constantly having to refresh after typing out a comment because I can't stay signed in. I keep getting this message "You do not have permission to perform this action. Please refresh the page and login before trying again." This is getting to be annoying.
  2. I'm finding these jerseys don't photograph all that well. The blue doesn't really pop like it should, so the skyline just kind of blends in.
  3. I noticed upon closer inspection that the skyline is actually different. Buildings appear taller, but also the placement of Toronto looks lower on the official jerseys than it does on what I assume was a bootleg.
  4. I think they could have just made them navy with purple and pink highlights if they wanted. But I get why they went with the colour scheme they did. While I think it does look better than the leaks suggested, I just don't think it's a good design. And I'm concerned they still won't look that great when under natural lighting.

  6. I don't know that they look that much different, but it's still disappointing. Such a bad design.
  7. The initial leak was attributed to someone going by "paintsbyparkin", and Kory Parkin was one of the designers of that jersey. Incidentally, both him and his partner sell their own jerseys and merchandise: https://www.koryparkin.com/ https://caseybannerman.com/
  8. Is that why people have likened this supposed jersey to something you'd find in a gas station? In terms of design, this is the messiest jersey of the lot, and it's not even close. There's also an interesting tidbit about the leak: The person who leaked it is the same guy who designed this jersey: There's speculation that he purposefully faked it as a way of drumming up interest in his own designs. Like, "Man, what an ugly jersey, why couldn't they go with something like that Indigenous jersey?".
  9. None of them look this bad, though. According to Blake Murphy, he spoke with someone in the know about them, and was told this was not the real jersey, so take that for what it's worth.
  10. Honestly, the more I look at the jersey, the more I think it's a fake. There's just so much wrong with it that it's hard to believe it's a real jersey. - The CN Tower looks wonky. Actually, the entire Toronto skyline looks wonky. Like if you were to ask an AI program to come up with a graphic. And would the Blue Jays really release a jersey where the stadium they play in is obscured? Also, the graphic is way too high up on the jersey. -The graphic also looks very flat. The spaces in the letters don't even show the background behind them, it's just solid black (or dark navy). - The yellow Nike swoosh is also at odds with the jersey's colour scheme. Speaking of, - The jersey doesn't even match the shade of the hat. And, as noted by others in this thread, it doesn't seem to be matching the colour scheme of the videos we've been seeing. Overall, the Blue Jays have been consistent with their brand since they changed to the current logo. In terms of quality and design, this would be a huge downgrade if it were real.
  11. Wouldn't some of this already be set into motion by now? Or is this all dependant on what happens with the proposed Rail Deck Park?
  12. I was thinking the same thing, but as others have said, it's likely not possible.
  13. Don't most people actually prefer the blue alternates?
  14. I don't know, I think he has a point. There's a library I go to that has a lot of glass windows, and even when the AC is on, you don't really feel it. With a space as large as the dome, do you feel the AC? If it works, though, there's no reason to not try with our roof.
  15. Anyone see these renderings of the proposed new Rays stadium?
