Question : if LOUP is not available do to family matters/issue can we not replace him or his roster spot?

 

I would think he would have to be placed on a bereavement list. The problem is I don't think what he and his family is going through is a bereavement type of situation since they never did it last time and haven't done it this time around either. It's such an odd and mysterious situation, I've never seen something like this during playoff time, to miss time on two separate occasions without going on some sort of inactive list.

I honestly think Gibby may be considering piggybacking Estrada/Price/Stro through the next three games. Right now he has bunch of tired out second tier guys in the bullpen that he doesn't trust anyway + Sanchez and Osuna battling blister/nail issues... I'm gonna be expecting the most unconventional management of pitching from here on.

I could even handle a batter or two if say Hosmer's up with runners on second and third with a run or two run lead.

But he's gotta be able to go Friday. Having Stroman on short rest and Dickey game 7 would be pretty s*****.

Its going to be like every other crowd of the series. Its playoff Baseball. People were excited just to see a new banner. To most people this year is considered successful no matter what happened. Hard to imagine the AL being this weak again though.
