TRM Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 The Diamondbacks are really f***ing stupid if they think they have a shot to do anything this year. This is adjusted for the fact that I already think they are the second dumbest team in baseball. who's #1? Phillies?
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 ^^^ That's a really weird list.
SAAviour Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 With all the extra ticket sales in the last 2 days, maybe we can claim Shields on waivers in August and pick him up for 'just' his salary...if Rogers sees the value in extra ticket sales. I'm guessing TV numbers are up to, especially for Tulos first game.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I'm curious why the Dodgers took cash from both teams. Why not take better talent instead of cash? Am I missing something here? They're WAY the f*** over the luxury tax, even infinite money is finite, apparently..
over500 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Not that I want him, but is there any f***ing no-trade list we are not on? Imagine how hard it is to lure free agents here. What a bizarre list.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Navarro is a run producing bat Trade Navarro to whitesox
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Okay, this isn't even funny anymore. This is Dave Littlefield Pirates territory of bad.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 The Dbacks TV deal is what worth $100 million a year Makes me question Rogers claims
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Would the Brew Crew be willing to deal Parra? And if so, what would it take?
FrozenRopes Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Left Fielder would be great. Gallardo would be nice.
Mikeleelop Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Left Fielder would be great. Gallardo would be nice. Chapman would inspire special alone time
jays76 Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Left Fielder would be great. Gallardo would be nice. LF(lefty bat), SP, RP. That would make us the most complete team in baseball. If we can get even one of those it'd be pretty sweet. If it's Gallardo I wonder who gets the hook, Hutch or Estrada?
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I wouldnt mind seeing us grab a lefty reliever today. Cecil.and Loup have been less than inspiring
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Obviously Estrada? What is wrong with you people.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I wouldnt mind seeing us grab a lefty reliever today. Cecil.and Loup have been less than inspiring Cecil has been pretty good since running into some trouble in June
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I wouldnt mind seeing us grab a lefty reliever today. Cecil.and Loup have been less than inspiring We have a Wolf in waiting!
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Again we need the Ninja to go big Archer, boxberger, jaso! Make it so, Ninja ! starter, closer, Lf bam! Start with Shanchez, The pimp, tellez ,Alford and ?
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Short of giving up major MLB pieces like Osuna, Stroman and/or Pillar, we don't have enough talent in the farm to land Carrasco I would have given up Norris/Hoffman/Pompey + more to land him instead of Price.
flafson Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Would you guys do Hutch++ for Carrasco? I think i would.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 They didn't want that package though. Would you give up Stroman+? That's more realistic. I wouldn't give up Stroman because he is the heart of this club and this city. Then again, AA traded away Lawrie, who while is not on the level of Stroman, was still beloved.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 BREAKING: Dodgers close to acquiring the Toronto Blue Jays https://medium.com/sportspickle/dodgers-making-late-push-to-acquire-the-toronto-blue-jays-before-the-trade-deadline-85a8fe9015ee
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Since we not opposed to moving Hutch would Hutch Shanchez tellez Alford be enough for archer boxberger and Jaso?
flafson Verified Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 I just hope the Yankees don't pull a big move for Craig Kimbrel or some other big name starter.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Bad idea of the day: I think the Jays should just say f*** it and go pick up Shields and Upton for nothing. Absorb their salaries. The hit would be 10M in payroll right now and then Upton would leave, and Shields would just replace Buehrle on the ledger. It would be a very minor price to pay in 2015 for a substantial climb on the win-curve.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Jerry Crasnick #Redsox are in market for controllable starting pitching. Heard they've talked to #Indians about Carlos Carrasco. Goodbye Devers and Mookie Betts

HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted July 31, 2015 Posted July 31, 2015 Red Sox also interested in Kimbrel. While I don't like the Red Sox getting a stud BP piece, it's better for us that Houston/NY doesn't get him.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
