Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Apparently Mets deal isn't done yet
nonamejays Verified Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Wandy Rodriguez was DFA'ed by Texas today. Wouldn't be a high cost acquisition and he'd be better than Dubront. It wouldn't be a sexy option, but it wouldn't hurt if the Jays go after two pitchers.
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 So the Dodgers just stole Alex Wood?
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Why the f*** would the Braves trade Wood for Olivera? Why would they include Pereza? so confusing
King Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Apparently Mets deal isn't done yet Martin Maldonado posted a picture on instagram of the Brewers saying bye to gomez. Flores is crying on the field This is insane
RIPEXPOS Verified Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Theoretically, what would David Price cost? Would be a little scared to give up Norris or Alford. Would Pompey, Pentecost, and one of Harris/SRF do it?

glory Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Theoretically, what would David Price cost? Would be a little scared to give up Norris or Alford. Would Pompey, Harris, and SRF do it? Norris and Pompey/Alford, probably. Not worth it for two months.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Seriously, what the hell are the Braves thinking? Even if you break it down to where it's something like Johnson for Bird, Peraza for the draft pick and Wood for Olivera, it's an overwhelming downgrade in value across the board.

RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 So the Dodgers just stole Alex Wood? That is f***ing insane. What a front office team they have.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Why would they include Pereza? so confusing Maybe because Ozhaino Albies is a better player?

Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 I wouldn't worry about getting Price, AA doesn't want rentals
RIPEXPOS Verified Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Pompey go tmore value than Alfor, amirite? Probably, though I'd prefer keeping Alford to be honest, he has a higher ceiling and I don't worry abut his mental makeup.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Theoretically, what would David Price cost? Would be a little scared to give up Norris or Alford. Would Pompey, Pentecost, and one of Harris/SRF do it? Honestly, Pompey over Colabello/Carrera could probably give the Jays as much RoS value as a lot of the pitching upgrades people are looking at. That is f***ing insane. What a front office team they have. How does this have anything to do with the Dodgers? It just shows us how stupid the Braves are.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Friedman and Zaidi team is outright robbing MLB of good players. Dodgers will win multiple world series.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Maybe because Ozhaino Albies is a better player? have you seen who is playing second base for the Brave, Peterson. Pereza can be in the majors next year
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 I think this deadline is going well. ideally there will be many players available on the 31st, and not enough buyers. Might be the right time for AA to swoop in.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Everything is happening. oh boy Orioles?
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Friedman and Zaidi team is outright robbing MLB of good players. Dodgers will win multiple world series. Shut up. We're still waiting for them to even win one... they haven't been to the World Series since 1988. And that Dodgers team may not even make the playoffs.. the Giants are right on their tail.
flafson Verified Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Big question is, are there any front line starters that are not rentals available? I don't see enough...
baubau Verified Member Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 oh boy Orioles? Please! I hope the O's do something stupid like Gausman and Hunter for him.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Everything is happening. Wouldn't supreme me if we traded for him and Shields lol
Governator Community Moderator Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 Big question is, are there any front line starters that are not rentals available? I don't see enough... Hamels? Though he's about to go the Rangers and was never coming here.
