    From what I understand scouts like his upside with the bat. Give him full time reps to focus on the craft of hitting and you could see his numbers jump. If he fails in that regard you can always put him back on the mound.

    Curious to see who the other prospect is, but the bottom line is Hutch was essentially non-piece for us now and going forward. Liriano has some serious turn around potential especially being reunited with Martin. Mostly though, I really like Ramirez as a prospect. He reminds me of Devon Travis, though the LF/CF version without the HR pop, but an even more advanced contact hitter. But the comparison comes from my opinion that he's a guy who can just hit and play baseball and be a valuable piece despite a less than impressive frame. It's not inconceivable that we see him on the big league roster next year depending on what happens with Saunders and Bautista and where Bautista would play. it wouldn't shock me at all if he's a .300 hitter in the majors. Could even be a leadoff guy. Liriano is a wild card, but worth it to acquire Ramirez.

    Travis is a damn good 2nd baseman.

    It doesn't really address need, but it makes us better all around and cost us essentially nothing. Think there might be another shoe to drop still.

    Wasn't sure where Upton would play, but at this value, it's a great deal. Think this means someone gets dealt in an effort to shore up pitching- possibly Pillar.

    Gibby clearly went with "his gut" and thought it would be good to "get a look at" Leon in the 8th inning of a 1 run game. f***ing brutal.

    He mentioned that Storen had been up a few times this series, but then clearly stated that "he wanted to get a look at the new guys". Absolutely insane.

    Bottom line is the whole resting Price, the MB fiasco, celebrating the ALEast victory like we won the world series, and then punting the AL LEAD.... Seems like god rotten strategy at this point.
