O's/Angels still tied into the 11th. Keep blowing out that pen L.A... we want to see Baltimore embarassed on national TV tomorrow (game's on TSN and ESPN)

Eww Joe Buck ruining the play by play.. the Yanks/Rangers game is on Fox Sports 1 in the US. And the Yankees lead 10-4.

 

Buck is a dealbreaker for me for nearly every sporting event. I can't stand him.

Friggen Yankees win 12-11 getting out of bases loaded full count.

 

That was amazingly close. Ugh.

 

Jays make distance between Royals and Tribe tonight, but that's it. And I guess gain a game on the WC lead too.

I think we all know its going to come down to September. Since the Blue Jays will be playing all of the teams chasing them as well as the team we are chasing anyone can get hot and go on a run and win the division. Games are pretty much worth double when facing those teams. Likewise, a cold streak can lose a ton of ground as well.

 

Good news for Blue Jay fans is that everyone should be healthy come September.

Did anyone forget to tell the Angels they're an elite team? Another loss to the O's, a team they should be slaughtering with that offense. Luckily, the Jays are winning. Not so good for the Rays and Yankees, though.

Nice to see another team finally do their job. Way to go Texas.

 

Yanks losing is big. If the Jays are not going to close the gap in the division then widen the gap in the WC race. The team is in an interesting spot right now.

Heck, we could still catch the Angels. Angels already lost 2 in Baltimore, and have tough stretches coming in Tampa Bay and Chavez Ravine (home-and-home with the Dodgers).

It's definitely not out of the question, but it will be tough. If the Jays can roll through the Astros things will get even more interesting with Lawrie expected to rejoin the club next week.

I'm worried about Tampa to be honest. They are the team that scares me right now, more than the Yankees and Mariners.

They are the best of the three. If Tampa creeps up a couple more games than the Jays will be in big trouble, if they aren't already. The Jays need to take care of business against the Astros or it could get ugly.
