If nobody wins in the AL East again will finish first place!

Intra-divisional games though :(

It is nice to worry about not losing ground instead of not making up ground for once. If everyone wins (or loses), it's okay!

Multiple suspensions and fines coming in Boston:

Ejections: Boston Red Sox Manager John Farrell ejected by HP umpire Dan Bellino (1st); Boston Red Sox Bench Coach Torey Lovullo ejected by HP umpire Dan Bellino (4th); Boston Red Sox pitcher Brandon Workman ejected by HP umpire Dan Bellino (6th); Boston Red Sox Third Base Coach Brian Butterfield ejected by HP umpire Dan Bellino (6th)

That's the list of ejections so far tonight in the Red Sox/Rays game. Workman's likely gone 5 games at least, and the coaches are uncertain.

Workman was tossed for tossing behind a batter. Red Sox are also losing, BTW.

Looks like Red Sox will win their 5th in a row. I hope the Rays win 2 of 3, but doesn't look likely.

Game's tied at 2 still, and Pedroia has left the game with an undisclosed injury. Escobar has just followed suit limping to first..

Sox fail to score

Escobar hurt, can barely walk, and taken out of the game in the 10th. Looks seriously hurt despite a benign looking play.

No longer care who wins this game. I just want more fights/suspensions/attrition/injuries/bullpen fatigue for both teams. LOL

Have at 'er boys

Nothing better than losing among the losers.

Though I don't want Red Sox to win. Any momentum is dangerous.

Red Sox win after a nasty looking collision in the OF between Jennings and Myers

Wow, what a messy game THAT was

Yanks and O's lose, thus preserving the lead at the top. Only the Red Sox win and they are showing signs of what they are capable of. Overall, if we're going to lose, it's great that 3/4 of the other teams in the division also lost. Time for Stroman tomorrow, let's finally see what he can do in a starting role.

Still surprised that Price didn't get tossed, though I agree that one didn't seem intentional. Once sides have been warned like that, and guys have already been hit, the umps are usually VERY quick with the trigger to knee-jerk toss a pitcher with any subsequent HBP. They don't usually seem to factor in game situation from what I've witnessed once a game gets to this point.

Maybe the umpire thought he'd be ridiculed in another epic all-caps David Price Twitter rant if he tossed him and decided against it. LOL

Who cares, he let them play?

I'm not saying the ump did anything wrong - should not have been tossed for the Carp hit. Was just surprised a bit.

The gap between Myers and Thames defensively is very short.

I don't think we've seen Myers at maximum performance yet. Thames I think we have.

Red sox putting together a nice streak... as expected

Yeah I never thought they'd stay down too long. They're better than their record would suggest. (though the implosion of Buchholz is a legit serious concern)

They are better, but I don't know if they are good enough to win the division at this point anymore.

Yankees tied with the Twins, hopefully the twinkies can pull this one out.
