Baltimore can't afford to lose against weak teams like Houston.. especially with a big series coming up with the elite Tigers(21-12!), who will send out Porcello, Smyly and Verlander. The other question is whether Wieters' injury ruins the pitchers, as Clevenger and Joseph are downgrades offensively and defensively.

 

Don't be fooled by their current record.. let's see what the O's do against elite, contending teams. Rays and Astros aren't exactly contenders. (O's have a 5-0 record vs. the awful Rays this year, BTW.)

Man, the Rays are acting like the 2013 Jays right now.. except a bad Rays season could threaten the franchise's future in Florida. No way Sternberg will continue to run the team with no new stadium coming and the franchise likely heading for a rebuild, which will equal Expos-level crowds.
