jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Ramos getting destroyed by the Mariners.. and worse, the Rays seem to know that the franchise is going to be blown up soon.. 4 errors tonight, including bad errors by Longoria, and a Bill Buckner-type error by Loney!
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Mariners are laying waste to Cesar Ramos right now. Free Karns
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Cubs are laying waste to the Cardinals..really! 17-5. And Daniel Descalso is now pitching.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Hey, Daniel Descalso may not be the only position player pitching tonight.. the Rays will likely have to have S-Rod or Forsythe to pitch if this blowout continues.

TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 I think Baseball is going to have to accept the celebrations eventually. It's where sports are going
Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 What a clown. I think that's hilarious, i just don't get the double standard where hitters can't flip a bat and pitchers can do fist pumps and cartwheels
Frag Verified Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Base stealing "hormesis" exists Too slow a runner, and he clogs the bases. Too fast (and aggressive) a runner, and he distracts everyone including the batter.
Sammy225 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Another one bites the dust. Carlos Beltran may need surgery on his right elbow
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Vidal Nuno is garbage. 24 pitches just to get the first out so far... and the Mets are getting long at-bats at him. And because the Mets hitters now have full info, Granderson just hit a 3-run homer off him.. 4-0 Mets.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Another TJS, this time Jose Cisnero. Evan Drellich @EvanDrellich Jose Cisnero's to have Tommy John next week
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 One of the prospects the Jays gave up in the Josh Johnson/Mark Buehrle/Jose Reyes megadeal, Anthony DeSclafani, will make his MLB debut tomorrow. Why couldn't they just call up Andrew Heaney? He would've been a better option.. DeSclafani hasn't exactly lit it up in AA.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Detroit down to their final out....Cabrera homers....Detroit leads Baltimore 3 to 1

Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Orioles lose! Celebrate good times come on
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 What a meltdown for the Orioles.. they had the win in the bag, and Tommy Hunter melts down again.. his ERA's up to 6.60. How much longer are the O's gonna stick with him? As a result of the Yanks getting blown out and the Red Sox struggling, we're going to leap up to 2nd tonight. Meanwhile, Tampa continues to bring up the rear(and the game's on SN Pacific and West right now.)
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 3 teams a game and a half back if everything stays as is, wow. Sanchez, Norris+ for Shark anyone?
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Wow... Yunel just made a ridiculously tough play look incredibly easy. I hope someone else just saw that.
