  1. QFT!!! You can say that again... http://i.imgur.com/maRFSLT.png to http://i.imgur.com/EzGrW2n.png All within 13hrs... dem robots mang. It's been nice finally getting to know all of you without having met either of you. I hope I didn't rub any of you guys the wrong way. Time to start fresh. Peace.
  2. How is this bad news on morrow? It sounds like he's progressing normally through his physical rehab program. dat diabeetus tho. Some ppl are just born with bad genetics and/or upbringing but IMHO, that doesn't mean he can't live a healthy, normal career and life. He just needs a bit more care and time to recover. He doesn't speak much, but when he does, he sounds like he knows what he's doing and doing what's best for him. I've never met him, but he seems like a man with good character, ethics, make-up, morals and integrity. He's just a bit fragile at times, but what player and person doesn't have their flaws? I'm sure he's taking the best care of himself right now as he's getting up there in age, and nearing the end of his physical peak years. Time to make a real push and move forward when he gets back. I'm sure he's going to come back better than ever!!!
  3. Just like Santos, Delabar has some of the best stuff in the BP but cannot find the strike zone if his life depended on it right now. It's a move I can stand by, and really, Delabar should just check his ego aside, put his head down and just work his ass off. His current delivery, mechanics or something else clearly isn't working atm. He's not clicking on all cylinders like last season.
  4. scarlett johansson plz. kthx
  5. i think spanky is his own case. i think he's too much of a diehard to ever leave forever, and i don't think it's right to outright ban him. but clearly this guy has over 9000 lives. i think a two or three day ban every now and then when he goes off the rails is about right. just enough time for him to cool off and reset back to normal... a bit, lol. rinse and repeat.
  6. I can see why you want Santos as closer because if you wanted to judge who has the best stuff, it's has to be down to Santos and Delabar. Your prototypical late inning RP/closer who throws a beast of a fastball and a killer/wipe out slider-type pitch. Very nice fast and hard breaking pitch. And I've been a huge Casey Janssen fan ever since he first came up with the Jays, but I myself am not 100% comfortable with a control pitcher as closer. But Santos really can't find the strike zone, and Janssen has been incredibly efficient since becoming a closer. One of those cases where this situation calls to go against the grain and give the soft tossing control pitcher the closer's role.
  7. How the hell did RAJ get that job? How did Gillick let him take over after him? It should also be partly his responsiblity for allowing him to ruin the potential dynasty he created. I've seen some pretty bad bankers who were clearly grandfathered/grandmothered into their positions (and clearly they would be unemployed otherwise), but this is at the highest level of professional sports and GM is a position at the top of the food chain. How does this still go unnoticed in 2014? Truly unf***ingbelieveable. Scientists claim dinosaurs were extinct long ago... but clearly there are a new type of dinosaurs still breeding.
  8. Sorry some of us actually enjoy it when our team plays well?
  9. I hope this thread works. Just gotta keep ECJF from creating new threads.
  10. Oh the ebb and flow that is the baseball season...
  11. Didn't toss Gibby out. Maybe that shows us what the ump really thought, but protected his fellow peers and ego.
  12. that was a f***ing great play by that catcher. he made that look f***ing easy. very hard play.
  13. Dunno, in terms of accuracy I think they're both pretty on the money. Maybe Bo's was a little better beacuse it was a bit lower and more fundamentally sound because of an easier transition for the tag. Harold Reynolds is also much faster than Kendrick. I also think bobbling that ball a bit more gave Cespesdes a bit more time to think things through in his head, whereas Bo was just running on instinct. Really, IMHO, 1A vs. 1B. Pretty damn tight. Who has had the best infield throw? I still can't think of anyone better than Machado's at Yankee stadium. That was one nuts.
  14. I think Bo's was better because he didn't mess up the play, it was Harold Reynolds running and I think Bo was slightly further but that depends on the park dimensions. But that was a f***ing canon. What's the grade on Cespedes' arm? I never knew he had an arm like that!!!
  15. Haven't seen the vid yet. Is it better than Bo's? http://youtu.be/cIqtDykn0l0?t=58m20s
  16. Great draft by the Jays. Might end up being the best team to come out of this class. And it really does look like they do target more or less injured pitchers to sign them at discounted deals banking on the advancement of medicine and saving up change from other picks to go after bigger risks/higher reward type players. And I didn't mean to s*** on you Gibbers. I was just curious. My bad if you felt that way.
  17. Hopefully kind of like Aaron Sanchez. A pitcher everyone loved and projected to go really high, but for some reason teams passed up on. Signed fast and signed around slot.
  18. Even in his previous start, a lot of pitches were left up in the zone especially later in the inning. I thought he came away pretty lucky there. Good Bautista karma I guess... just not this time
  19. Wow. That was pretty ****y move right there. Clearly intentional. Some of the older guys should tell him he can't do that. It was payback for yesterday's beaning of Donaldson, after Machado's ballerina dive and he stlll can't take the heat. What a ****y bitch. Lost a lot of respect for Machado.
  20. mega props to TL, King and ace for all their contribution and obvious dedication and effort. following the draft has been improved 10x since moving over. thanks for juiced for hosting this for free. oh dem feelz boys. dem feelz
