  1. A lot of good that does us yesterday.
  2. Jesus christ. The Jays gave Gurriel 5 f***ing years to show some consistency and all they got was injury after injury, inconsistent offense, awful baserunning and terrible goddamn defense. And even if he was still here all he'd really be doing right now is having a potential career year when he's due to be a free agent and the Jays wouldn't be able to afford to keep him anyways. Now they've got a player who can play any OF position and play them well above average, is way smarter on the base paths and still has a f*** ton of runway left as he's under control for 4 more years. There was nothing wrong with that trade.
  3. For the love of christ score some effing runs for Gausman today you buncha nitwits
  4. I'd be all for sending Manoah down if we had someone decent to replace him. White has been getting his s*** pushed in down in AAA Zulueta has not performed Francis is hurt and I think a reliever now anyways Teidemann also hurt Don't really want to see Thompson, Lawrence or Hutch. Although it would be better to have them getting beaten up with the Jays than Manoah of it meant Manoah had a better chance at fixing himself down there.
  5. Hard to believe Manoah is a complete bag of s*** now lol Wow
  6. I was pretty young back then, but didn't Cito sit Olerud in the 93 world series in NL games where their wasn't a DH and then play Joe Carter at 1B?
  7. 2022 5th rounder Mason Fluharty is off to good start in HiA Lefty reliever, 21 yo, 0.68 ERA, 0.75 WHIP, 12.56 K/9, 3.45 BB/9 Anyone know if he brings some heat from the left side, or what his pitch arsenal is like?
  8. I'm not 100% but I think the Rays have lost every single series so far against any teams that aren't complete bags of s***.
  9. Hagen Danner is back healthy again and has a 16.2 K/9 over 6.2 IP in AA so far. Man it'd be nice if some of these guys would work their way to MLB and become homegrown stud S&M cheap relievers with control. They always seem to either get injured or fizzle out. Remember Adrian Hernandez the last couple years racking up the K's? He f***ing sucks now lol
  10. With a more balanced schedule they should just scrap divisions and rank the teams by their records for each league. Right now the rank would be: Tampa Baltimore Texas Toronto Boston NYY Minnesota ....
  11. Man it'd be nice if Zulueta and White weren't sucking balls in AAA Casey fricken Lawrence has the 3rd best xFIP of all Bison pitchers so far this year. That's sad lol
  12. Man what I wouldn't do to have 2019 ken Giles on this roster. The guy was absolutely filthy.
  13. I said already, Manoah was ranked IIRC 189th in MLB last year for all SP's in time between pitches. It was like 20.7 seconds or something. He is being rushed and is not in great shape and IMO it's the biggest factor in his drop off this season. And when I say "drop off" I'm someone who thinks his results were over his head last season. He was solid, but not a CY worthy type "ace" pitcher. He's a mid rotation guy at best but clearly right now he's not anywhere near his best. Remember when he blew up on that analyst on twitter after the analyst criticized him for not being in the best shape? Um.....yea...
  14. Nice. Wallace caught my eye last year, glad to see he's doing well after moving up.
  15. Was poking around FG and noticed Jordan Groshans is still AAA and only has a 44 wRC+ so far. Of all the prospects the Jays have traded the last few years, they really haven't given up any that went on to do anything. Looks like Moreno might be the only one who will do F all, and we still have two pretty good catchers anyways so whoopty do. And they absolutely flogged the A's in the Chapman deal, depending on what Hoglund does, but I don't think he's even pitched yet this season.
  16. And then when a player simply tells him to "clean it up" the player gets immediately tossed from the game. It's absolutely f***ing ridiculous that a moron can f*** up all day like completely useless f***wad, get called on it without any profanity or anything and has the power to toss a player from the game like that.
  17. Zach Britton leading the Jays minor league system with a 177 wRC+ Excellent batting line: .324 .489 .471 .959 Probably see him reach AAA in another month or two if he keeps that up.
  18. Whoah Is King Kloff turning a corner? 25 IP 10.80 K/9 3.6 BB/9 2.52 ERA 2.6 FIP 2.69 xFIP Decent numbers for a 22yo in AA He was complete dogshit last season.
  19. I wonder if Santos has experienced any uptick on the velocity? Lots of swing and miss but I remember reading he was only averaging low 90's with his FB?
  20. 9 game win streak going against these bums. Let's keep it going.
  21. Last season the Jays went 16-3 against the Red Sox Outscoring them 125 to 55 Hopefully we still have their number and continue to f*** their s*** up royally, starting today.
  22. Anyone know why Schneider is keeping Pearson a wallflower? Hasn't pitched since the 25th FFS
  23. f*** the Rays and the Orioles and MLB giving them the butteriest, softest, pussy ass schedule I've ever seen to start a season. Pretty godamn annoying to be 18-10 and in 3rd place because those two teams getting play series after series against the s*** buried underneath the outhouse lol I looked at the Jays schedule and it looks like a never ending gauntlet for the most part until like late August FFS Ah well. Sucks to lose that one for sure. Blowing leads blows chunks.
