  1. Cherry picking? Did you think I was using those stats as some sort of f***ing compliment?
  2. Jays record against AL east - 6-16 (0.272 win%) 44 win pace Jays record against rest of MLB - 31-15 (0.673 win%) 109 win pace
  3. TIL that the Jays pitching staff leads all of MLB in K/9 (9.63) Too many walks (12th best in MLB) and definitely too many HRs given up (5th most in MLB)
  4. Maybe they can convert him to a starting pitcher lol
  5. Vladdy with 0.7 fWAR 60+ games into the season. Come on dude, be better. He needs a Bo-level hot streak this summer.
  6. Well, they don't suck that bad they're just the AL easts bitch lol Pretty good record against the rest of MLB
  7. So I guess we're just gonna be the rest of the AL east bitches now? Lovely Great getting repeatedly curb stomped by a team with 1/5 of our payroll and a prospect pool that is unreal.
  8. Yeah, have to agree. Not impressed with the Jays drafting and developing under this regime. Still blows my mind that they don't have a single home grown pitcher on this roster right now except for Nate Pearson. Zero homegrown starters in MLB and nothing highly rated sitting in AAA either. In eight friggin years. Still have a pretty good baseball team, but it's very expensive and only 3rd or 4th best in our division with a pretty weak prospect pool to keep it at the level it's at, never mind improve it.
  9. That should have been a sweep for the Jays but ah well, on to the next I guess.
  10. Did Addison Barger die or something? f***ing hell come back and play some baseball already
  11. Pretty unlucky not to win that in the 9th. Damn
  12. Man this thread is a straight up tire fire now. I come here for bluejays talk not off topic debate.
  13. MLB really needs to consider changing up the playoff set up. Winning your division shouldn't get you a spot if you're division sucks and so does your team. Hopefully we don't end up with a sub .500 team in the post season this year while a much better team like the Jays or Yankees don't make it.
  14. Did nobody grab Plesac? I can't believe the Jays wouldn't pick him up with their thin starting pitching. If any of the 4 starters left get hurt we might be boned.
  15. Nice to see Gausman f*** the Astros up this time after they clobbered him last time. Let's gooooooo!
  16. Fluharty had 4 K's in 1.2 IP and Brock had 3 K's in 1.1 IP at AA yesterday. Both relievers were just recently promoted to AA and are still missing bats so that's good.
  17. The Rangers have the best run differential in the league right now. I don't think they are this good and will drop off at some point, but they look like a playoff team to me. Didn't they just sweep the M's? And like pretty much kick the s*** out them in the process.
  18. Astros, Orioles and Rangers all in the next few series haha
  19. Gausman is 4-3 Kikuchi is 6-2 That's all the proof you need to show how stupid W/L are for pitchers
  20. Bassitt, Belt and Kiermaier just killing it this season. Heck of a crop of FA's this off season signed by Atkins. Too bad some of the homegrown talent is s***ing the bed a bit so far this season. Nice sweep though!
  21. What about Mr. Mayza and his 1.80 ERA / 2.52 xFIP and 0.6 fWAR?
  22. Is Trevor Richards actually good again???? Noice!
