  1. Can someone explain to me how, in 8 years now, the only starting pitcher this current Jays management team has developed is Alek Manoah? And he sucks now too. Not a single homegrown starter ready in AAA either. The rotation is made up of expensive FAs and one guy they traded for, who also kind of sucks now too. In 8 years?? They didn't even come close with enough failed starters to build a good bullpen in those 8 years either lol f*** me gently, that's terrible.
  2. The Orioles look like their rebuild.has zoomed past ours, they still have an unbelievably stacked prospect pool and a $60 million payroll The Rays....well, they're the godamn fcuking Rays The Yanks...well, they're the godamn fcuking Yanks The Red Sox, they're supposed to suck but pushed the Jays s*** in at Fenway. Jays might be in trouble haha Hopefully they get it figured out. Something is rotten in Denmark. They shouldn't be getting owned like this.
  3. If Tiedemann hadn't hurt his bicep he might have actually gotten a call up here shortly. The guy was fcuking AA up before his injury
  4. Soooo, 2-13 in the last 15 divisional games. That's poooopy Hopefully this bunch of inconsistent buttholes can turn it around, lots of season left but it really seems like the division has left us in the dust now and going forward. And this is coming from someone who is usually optimistic. Hope I'm wrong.
  5. When is Ryu ready? Lol Jays have no one to replace him with that's any good
  6. Well this season has been a real blast lol Being the 5th best team in the division is fun. 2-12 against the AL east since the series in Boston. 0-4 BOS 1-3 NYY 0-3 BAL 1-2 TBR Yipeeeee lol go jays go At least we don't have a $350 million payroll?? haha
  7. Yeah Cooke has two appearances so far in AA. In the first one he gave up 2 hits, unfortunately the 2nd hit was a two run homer. And in the 2nd appearance he had two walks which is never ideal obviously. He does have 4 K's out of the 6 outs recorded, so not completely terrible. Will be interesting to follow here for the next bit.
  8. Some interesting relievers at AA now putting up solid numbers. Burnette / 17.12 K/9 / 2.96 xFIP Cooke / 18.26 K/9 / 1.95 xFIP Danner / 17.10 K/9 / 1.55 xFIP Not sure about Burnette, but Cooke and Danner both reportedly hit high 90's
  9. Springer, Jansen and Kirk forgot how to hit. Hopefully they remember soon so the Jays don't get left behind.
  10. Ugh the Orioles do really look set up or the future don't they? Lots of money to spend still too.
  11. That's because most of the "newcomers" never post anything positive and disappear when the Jays are rolling. They mostly only show up when they're losing and take a big dump all over the forum with their negativity.
  12. Why do my sports teams hate me so much? Lol
  13. Kirk and Jansen were two of the best offensive catchers in baseball last season and neither were flash in the pans either. Nobody was predicting that neither of them would be able to hit their way out of a wet paper bag this season. If they weren't sucking right now nobody would be complaining about trading Moreno in that deal. Good news though, there is lots of season left for both of them to get their s*** together.
  14. Haha f*** the Mets and their $358 million payroll. Dipshits. Same with the Padres. Too bad the Jays couldn't land Xander though, that guys a stud. 2 fWAR already. Wasting away with those yellow trimmed turds.
  15. If only Manoah hadn't turned into a complete bag of useless s***, we'd have one hell of a rotation going. Especially with Berrios and Kooch somewhat bouncing back to respectable form.
  16. Zulueta whiffed 4 in 1.2 IP today Also walked 4 though. Geez
  17. Anyone here remember big Fitz Stadler? Probably not. He's the 6'9 reliever that supposedly hits triple digits. He missed all last year with what I assume was TJS. Looks like he's on rehab in Dunedin and is now rocking a 27.00 k/9 to go along with a 40.50 bb/9 LOL
  18. Kloff whiffed 9 in 5 innings today. ERA down to a nice tidy 2.38 Danner whiffed 4 in 2 innings. Still rocking the 0.00 ERA in AA. Probably won't take much to see him move to AAA.
  19. A lot of good that does us yesterday.
  20. Jesus christ. The Jays gave Gurriel 5 f***ing years to show some consistency and all they got was injury after injury, inconsistent offense, awful baserunning and terrible goddamn defense. And even if he was still here all he'd really be doing right now is having a potential career year when he's due to be a free agent and the Jays wouldn't be able to afford to keep him anyways. Now they've got a player who can play any OF position and play them well above average, is way smarter on the base paths and still has a f*** ton of runway left as he's under control for 4 more years. There was nothing wrong with that trade.
  21. For the love of christ score some effing runs for Gausman today you buncha nitwits
  22. I'd be all for sending Manoah down if we had someone decent to replace him. White has been getting his s*** pushed in down in AAA Zulueta has not performed Francis is hurt and I think a reliever now anyways Teidemann also hurt Don't really want to see Thompson, Lawrence or Hutch. Although it would be better to have them getting beaten up with the Jays than Manoah of it meant Manoah had a better chance at fixing himself down there.
  23. Hard to believe Manoah is a complete bag of s*** now lol Wow
  24. I was pretty young back then, but didn't Cito sit Olerud in the 93 world series in NL games where their wasn't a DH and then play Joe Carter at 1B?
