  1. Haha holy s*** balls
  2. I tend to agree. So does baseballtradevalues.com Hopefully the Jays land Soto no matter what they do in free agency.
  3. If that gets Soto it better get done ASAP haha
  4. Hopefully they could extend Soto, but either way, after landing Yamamoto Id be OK with it.
  5. Of course it's possible the Jays would sign Ohtani and suck, but it's not probable. Look at the Jays rotation and bullpen compared to what the Angels had the last half dozen years with Ohtani and Trout. Then you throw in Bichette, Springer, Varsho, Vaddy and a top 5 catching tandem, all of whom are contributors and not black holes...
  6. Hitting in between Soto and Ohtani is going to really help Vlad return to form lol
  7. This is kind of the way I see it playing out. Miss Ohtani because he was always going to be a Dodger, but then scoop Yamamoto, and use a chip like Tiedemann to land Soto.
  8. If you get a bounce back from Springer and Vlad that top 5 would be the best in baseball IMO Plus you'd likely have a top 5 rotation and bullpen to go along with it
  9. Ohtani signing with the Jays will just be the first domino to fall as this will truly be the off season of AlphA-tkins. Next up will be Yamamoto signing with the jays, then a Soto trade to the Jays cock blocking the pesky Yanks, followed promptly by a Candelario signing.
  10. Please don't 'Yu Darvish' us Ohtani.
  11. You're not just signing him for 2024, and he's not just a DH beyond that.
  12. It isn't that simple.
  13. Looking forward to some Cooke in 2024.
  14. Trading Tiedemann is fine, especially if the Jays can land Yamamoto. Yamamoto and Soto would be a pretty solid off season. Throw in a Candelario signing to play 3B and we'd have a pretty effing solid team.
  15. Yeah, problem with that is he spent the last 6 months being barely replacement level and has kind of sucked for two seasons now.
  16. Fricken Rays. They lost Franco, now they'll probably trade Arozarena and Glasnow yet still win 90+ games next season.
  17. Well, we have a huge gigantic hole at 3B and Alex Bregman might be available as a "rental".
  18. Oh please sweet baby jesus let the Jays land Ohtani and Yamamoto.
  19. Signing Yamamoto would make trading Tiedemann in a package for a bat much more palatable. For Soto perhaps? Might make signing in TO more of a realistic option for Ohtani too maybe? Corner the market on Japanese stars...
  20. Manoah for Nootbar? That seems like some wishful thinking by some Jays fans.
  21. Hayden Juenger, Hagen Danner, Connor Cooke and Josver Zulueta will probably all get some MLB innings this year, if healthy.
  22. Tiedemann might be the #5 starter for all we know.
  23. Makes sense. Pretty stacked bullpen and they have much cheaper homegrown options available for depth.
  24. Man it'd be nice to get a win like Ohtani for once. I still think he goes to the Dodgers.
