  1. This should be Tiedemann this season. Stupid bicep.
  2. I'm starting to wonder if Kikuchi ends up in the bullpen again this season. I mean obviously the Jays would have to trade for or promote a couple starters, but Kikuchi is barely skating by right now. Really too bad Tiedemann got hurt. Hopefully he's back soon.
  3. Lol f*** me. Just take the W and move on. This is what it looks like when you aren't playing the AL f***ing East for three weeks straight anymore.
  4. Yeah I figured with all these promotions Brock might also get moved up. 23 and excelling high A so needs to move up IMO Another one that I think we might see promotes soon to AA is Trenton Wallace
  5. I'm going to a type a sentence now that I wouldn't have bet on me typing ever in my life: Please hurry back Ryu and save us from Manoah lol
  6. Just noticed last years 5th rounder lefty reliever Mason Fluharty has been bumped to AA. Only 21 and had excellent numbers in A+ including a 12.33 K rate and 2.93 BB rate with a 0.59 ERA "Listed at 6'2” and 215 pounds, the lefty has an extreme cross-fire delivery from a low arm slot that hides the ball and makes it tough to pick up, especially for lefties. A reliever profile all the way, Fluharty doesn't have huge raw stuff with a bat-breaking low-90s cutter and sweeping breaking ball." Another interesting lefty anyways. Maybe he's seen an uptick in velo this year??
  7. Burnette and Danner both promoted to AAA in the last few days. Juenger has slipped a bit lately, but still decent K-rate at AAA.
  8. They made him a reliever last year in the second half after he was getting pummeled all first half. It does look like they're stretching him out again now though because he's actually good now and something is going to have to give with Manoah soon.
  9. f*** sakes Barger hasn't played in like a month. Slow start and then injured. Sucks.
  10. Hagen Danner - 17.18 K/9 - 1.37 xFIP Connor Cooke - 19.10 K/9 - 1.59 xFIP Jimmy Burnette - 16.66 K/9 - 3.08 xFIP Bowden Francis - 14.14 K/9 - 3.08 xFIP Hayden Juenger - 12.65 K/9 - 4.08 xFIP All relievers at AA or AAA. Except for Francis they're all 24yo and under. They all have decent to strong velocity too. Hopefully some of this mud sticks to the wall for once.
  11. Bo without question.
  12. Connor Cooke with an inning of work at AA today, struck out the side. 20.77 K/9 so far since moving up. (4.1 IP)
  13. Haha. Touchè Although to be fair Mayza has been solid this season so far. That's the thing with our BP. My bet is if Yimi ever figures it out, right about the same time Mayza will start sucking. Never firing on all cylinders.
  14. Jimmy Burnette in AAA now. Hopefully he performs. It'd be nice to have another lefty reliever who can miss bats.
  15. I thought the Jays just put him on the 60 day? Just buying time because he's been getting pummeled so far in AAA I guess
  16. Last place in what??? The division??? Because they are already there genius.
  17. Nick Frasso continues to carve AA up. 6 starts now 26.2 IP 12.15 K/9 1.69 BB/9 0.00 HR/9 1.01 ERA 1.92 FIP 2.67 xFIP Meanwhile Alex de Jesus went from a 125 wRC+ in 226 AB's last year at the Dodgers A+ affiliate, to 79 wRC+ in 104 ABs with the Jays A+ affiliate last year, and now a 66 wRC+ in 139 ABs with the Jays A+ affiliate this season. Oh, and Mitch White fcuking sucks lol
  18. Can someone explain to me how, in 8 years now, the only starting pitcher this current Jays management team has developed is Alek Manoah? And he sucks now too. Not a single homegrown starter ready in AAA either. The rotation is made up of expensive FAs and one guy they traded for, who also kind of sucks now too. In 8 years?? They didn't even come close with enough failed starters to build a good bullpen in those 8 years either lol f*** me gently, that's terrible.
  19. The Orioles look like their rebuild.has zoomed past ours, they still have an unbelievably stacked prospect pool and a $60 million payroll The Rays....well, they're the godamn fcuking Rays The Yanks...well, they're the godamn fcuking Yanks The Red Sox, they're supposed to suck but pushed the Jays s*** in at Fenway. Jays might be in trouble haha Hopefully they get it figured out. Something is rotten in Denmark. They shouldn't be getting owned like this.
  20. If Tiedemann hadn't hurt his bicep he might have actually gotten a call up here shortly. The guy was fcuking AA up before his injury
  21. Soooo, 2-13 in the last 15 divisional games. That's poooopy Hopefully this bunch of inconsistent buttholes can turn it around, lots of season left but it really seems like the division has left us in the dust now and going forward. And this is coming from someone who is usually optimistic. Hope I'm wrong.
  22. When is Ryu ready? Lol Jays have no one to replace him with that's any good
  23. Well this season has been a real blast lol Being the 5th best team in the division is fun. 2-12 against the AL east since the series in Boston. 0-4 BOS 1-3 NYY 0-3 BAL 1-2 TBR Yipeeeee lol go jays go At least we don't have a $350 million payroll?? haha
