    Yeah I think today officially is white flag day. I've been holding out hope that this team is not dead yet, that we still have the pieces to make a final run at this but it all just keeps falling apart. Between the injuries, an offense that's still dead in the water and the upcoming schedule. Time to look towards next year and beyond,

    Yeah. This feels like the final gut punch. By the time we're done the next killer stretch of the schedule. We'll be way out of it. This game was symbolic of the way a losing team manages to lose and a winning team manages to win.

    Yet another trash pitcher, with a free runner on second and still. Nothing.

    Amazing how we struggle against two 5+ ERA f***s in the same game. Especially considering one run was gifted. Just never make it easy.

    Well when it comes to the knee it's either ligaments, tendon or meniscus really. There were only so many options and none of them are good. So I didn't expect great news when he had to walk off the mound because of a knee issue. I kind of figured he might be done for the season.

    For all the people that hated Hoffman so much, I hope they enjoy the sight of Lee, Dallas, Little, Estrada and whatever other worthless f*** minor leaguer we have that we will likely watch blow games in leverage situations for us.

    Garbage pitcher pitching like garbage is obvious.

    Altuve always looks like a .600 hitter against our sorry asses.

    I think Detmers is a more polished pitcher right now, but Soriano might have the higher ceiling. It would be nice to have a lefty in the rotation. But it's also nice to have an extreme ground ball pitcher in the American League East and playoffs in general (Reid has done a good job of keeping the ball in the ballpark In fairness) I'm happy with the acquisition. I won't split hairs.

    It's amazing how year after year this team has virtually zero depth at triple A that can help us on the Major League roster. Particularly starters and long relievers. They all completely f***ing suck.

    I don't know if Bieber was necessarily good today. Definitely better, but he gave up a lot really good contact. Besides, nothing really matters if Guerrero doesn't show up at some point. He's a f***ing disaster and the single biggest reason we are where we are.

    We needed starting pitching just to survive this season regardless of whether we make a run for the postseason. There is literally zero depth in the organization right now. The trades today helps keep our relievers' arms from falling off.
