  1. We also need to pop the top off of the Roger's Centre soon. I think our offense will start heating up with nicer weather in Toronto and the ball carrying better.
  2. Gladly take the split. We're nowhere close to our best right now, fortunately the Yankees are kind of ass right now too.
  3. His only Achilles heel is his occasional loss of the strike zone. But when he's throwing strikes, he's a beauty. Clearly the Yankees don't concern him.
  4. I've complained about that from Vladdy for a very long time. He takes protection swings with less than two strikes. He's always done that and I don't f***ing understand why. It's about the dumbest thing you can do.
  5. Last year was substandard anyway you look at it. This year in particular is quite the challenge for anyone that believes in advanced statistics though. FIP is really good. One of the absolute best strikeout rates in baseball.
  6. But he never did that in the postseason before. He just happened to get hot. He definitely hates the Yankees though so that helped.
  7. Haven't said a word about Guerrero this year, just wondering when it's okay to point out that he's a very expensive slap hitter?
  8. Fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. Hope all the mothers are having a terrific Mother's Day. That's all that matters today.
  9. Well the fact that he was initially in the starting lineup I'm going to take as a good sign. Really hope that's not just wishful thinking.
  10. I'm a fan of Schneider. I understand they may have felt imbalanced with too many lefties. I also understand they may want Pinango playing more regularly than he will be now, but I believe in keeping the best players and I think Schneider should have gone down, hopefully to get his own mojo going by playing everyday while Pinango hopefully keeps eating.
  11. They have managed to ride out the storm enough to stay afloat. With key players getting healthy, roles getting defined and some trimming of the fat (Little!) and Okamoto hopefully starting to find his sea legs, things are looking up. Oh, and with the weather getting better, let's get the dome opened up some! I'm optimistic for a strong May.
  12. Things trending in the right direction. Getting healthier, getting stronger, getting better. Keep it rolling.
