  1. Oh God, please just win one. At least we'll be basically halfway done with the Yankees this year.
  2. Kind of what he's always been. He's not suddenly going to become a different pitcher then he has been. He's a good, consistent and very reliable starter. He's capable of some really good starts and streaks. He's not a true ace nor is he a true two on a championship team, but he's an extremely solid piece to have in the rotation and he'll get you innings year after year. As consistent as you'll get.
  3. Pitchers with arms like this absolutely don't need to be going max effort every pitch, it's stupid. Especially if you're going to throw a lot of sliders on top of that. Average 97 and hit your spots and when you need it reach back for more. It's just silly to be doing what he's doing.
  4. ⏳ until his arm goes boom...
  5. I'm not sure what people were saying in the off-season, I wasn't on this board in the off-season much, but there were some idiots last year who thought the Yankees were doomed for the foreseeable future making up whatever kind of nonsense fed their idiotic theories while most level headed people knew they were a couple moves away from being a really good team again.
  6. Garcia must be on that LeBron s***!
  7. The only language Vladdy might understand is playing time. But apparently, Jays management doesn't speak that language.
  8. There's going to be no world war. Too many countries have it too good and don't want to get dirt under their nails directly. Just proxy wars with the same countries as always.
  9. Oh Francis! Proof that warm bodies ≠ starting pitching depth
  10. Belt It's still alive and available is he not? What am I missing here?
  11. I could actually watch the replay on the SportsNet app, I'll probably watch some of that after the game is over just to get a look. I wasn't expecting to miss the game, family just sort of popped up on me and I had to accommodate.
  12. Family matters had me completely miss the first part of the game. Rodriguez' numbers looked pretty good, I wish I had a chance to actually see his stuff. Nice to tune into a 4 run lead.
  13. Can't even blame the elevation. The Rockies, the f***ing COLORADO ROCKIES, are smoking us. Oh well, just one of those games.
  14. Depth in the bullpen isn't there to try to fight from behind. Until they get healthy in the pen, being down a few runs is basically a white flag game.
  15. It's a total debacle
  16. This is why I like having an IR blaster in my phone.
  17. There's no evidence that he's hurt. If he is it would be completely irresponsible but he has shown that he can touch upper 90s. Definitely rusty from lack of pitching this spring. Hopefully he's not hurt but I'm not ready to freak out just yet.
  18. I'm interested in seeing what he's got to offer.
  19. While I generally agree, today was more about outstanding pitching for Seattle. If we don't dominate the Rockies though, there will be some big questions of this offense.
  20. In fairness, once we got past Yimi, there was nothing left in our bullpen that any of us could feel good about. Just too thin today.
