    Watching the Angels is one of the few things that makes me feel better about the Blue Jays.

    Yeah I'm still not expecting too much from him. He's on a fun little run, he's face some s***** teams of late, he'll be tested a little bit more coming up here but if he's a good back end starter it's definitely found money like you said.

    I used to have Netflix, but it was mainly for friends and family, I never really used it, then they did the geolocation thing and I dropped it and everybody got their own. I also pay for Google storage, forgot about that one. I use fmovies.co for any viewing needs but goojara seems pretty good too.

    Really? I guess I must have prime video then. Good to know I do have Apple music despite being an Android user. That, prime and Microsoft office I think are the only subscriptions I pay for anything.

    I don't think anybody should be surprised that we got here. The FO was too dependent on great health and peak performances. Also, we're supposed to give them credit for not holding on? There was nothing to hold on to. We were beyond the point of fooling ourselves. They had one of the worst records in the league. It's like saying at least the medical professionals knew enough to close the gaping wound and not let the patient bleed out. Not even a golf clap for that.

    This reminds me of a conversation I had recently. For most of us thinking of our first time with a girl, we would probably be thinking back to a memory of an underaged girl, and yet it's one of our fondest memories. Is that wrong? Or are we allowed to see that memory "through the eyes of our younger selves"? Does that save the situation?

    I would try to entice Soto on a mega deal over a shorter term in the hopes that he takes it to re-enter free agency in his early 30s. Like 70 million x 4 years or something. Probably not going to happen but I think I'm more in it to make the Yankees hurt lol.

    I think the Jays should offer him stupid money. I'd rather make a gigantic commitment to this guy than Vlad. At the very least I would make sure the Yankees don't have any easy time with re-signing him, make the market such that they have to pay more than they probably intended in order to keep him. That would be a win for me. It would be nice if he made enough money to piss off Judge, because Judge is supposed to be the top dog.

    This is really simple: Trade him, get a haul. Let someone else be saddled with whatever enormous contract he gets. He should have been gone at this deadline. I think we're going to look back at this deadline with a lot of regret once the Vlad endgame plays out.

    They won't do it. They should but they won't. They will either trade him next year with far less trade value, or sign him to a contract that will vastly overpay him because why else would he sign in a year he's about to become a free agent? Unless he gets obscene money from us of course. We can probably get a f***ing haul for him right now
