  1. f*** him. I hope both his arms fall off and they have to replace them with his legs.
  2. This team has had a very lousy recent history of drafting and developing great players that became cornerstones for the Blue Jays even before this regime. Or even acquiring other teams' prospects to fill that role. We haven't had a prospect turned stud everyday player since who? Delgado? Bo has been very good but not quite that level. Vlad showed only a glimpse. Haven't developed a stud ace since...Doc? There have been some guys that had success with other teams, some decent players that weren't necessarily studs. But the last 30 or so years have been very thin in that regard. I know such players don't grow on trees but come on. At some point you just start to feel cursed.
  3. Let's offer them generational player Vladimir Guerrero Jr. for that slug.
  4. I stand by what I said. Teams won frontline talent in the playoffs. He's not a front of the rotation arm nor a top of the order type of bat. He has value but not like that.
  5. Not buying it, if Gausman returns to ace form and Bo gets back to being Bo, both are easily more valuable because they are frontline talents. Varsho might be a platoon OF and defensive replacement/pinch runner on a championship team.
  6. Berrios is an easy sell. Dude is virtually a unicorn these days. Varsho isn't worth a lot. Doesn't belong on the list with the potential of the other 2.
  7. People think we take "joy" in this. I take no joy in being in this spot, it f***ing sucks, but the quicker we move on, the quicker we can contend for real. It's just that some of us realized we needed to move on sooner than others. We wasted time and lost asset value on a fraudulent team that was never a real contender. The window was 2021 and it was missed because enough wasn't done to fortify the pitching, especially early in the season when we watched the bullpen tank game after game.
  8. How many franchises are potentially in a worse situation than us? Very little in terms of prospects, a major league roster that needs rebuilding but doesn't have a single superstar to trade, which is rare usually a team coming off a couple of playoff appearances would have at least one superstar but we have none. There's guys that have value, but at this point we're getting pennies on the dollar for a lot of guys, so there's only so much we can look forward to even if we rebuild. There's really not a lot of teams in a more perilous spot.
  9. Can they at least replace all the dudes on the broadcast with gorgeous chicks. Give us something. It's not like we need real analysis of this dumpster fire.
  10. Calm down friend. No reason to get emotional.
  11. Toronto media used to have real bite back in the day. Now it's a bunch of beta cucks. Spineless motherf***ers, it's even worse for Rogers' owned properties obviously.
  12. You want the Toronto media to actually hold this team accountable? We don't do those things in Toronto.
  13. It's going to come down to which team wants to give this game away the most.
  14. Pearson is officially a flop.
  15. The seat is getting quite warm under his ass. He can only hold in his frustration long enough. He's not likely to get another manager job at this level. It's not really his fault. This s*** has cracks in its foundation. People blame managers too much.
  16. Well he was frustrated with his contract situation to begin with, probably frustrated with the way he's playing right now and frustrated with the direction of this team in general. I know they've known each other a long time but he has a very different personality than Vlad and I can see him really getting fed up with being around him, especially when things are going poorly. He's been too consistent to give up on, I still think he picks it up as the season goes on. But if there's something more to his slow start that could be an issue.
  17. I'm hopeful with the Leafs. At least they have high end talent that can win if they put it together, granted they need Matthews. I'm happy the Raptors have picked a direction to finally rebuild because they should have done it a couple of years ago. It's more of a retool and they could bounce back fairly quickly actually. It's the Jays that have the most concerned. Everything points to imminent disaster given the contract situations and our minor league lack of depth. We still have some assets and we can help along the rebuild if we don't hang on too long to false hope.
  18. Watch us completely dominate Baltimore suddenly lol.
  19. Hey man, I come on here to give honest baseball opinions, sometimes people don't like them and they try to make it personal, I'm not going to really ride anyone unless they deserve it based on the way they carry themselves, but at the end of the day I'm happy to sit down, watch a game and have a beer with anyone on this board.
  20. This isn't serious business, which is why it's awfully strange when he calls people names just because he disagrees with their baseball opinions. I don't see other people being a complete douchebag like that, so if you want to give speeches, give one to him. Okay?
  21. No HE is an insufferable f***ass in denial who acts like he is smarter than he is. So I'm really just targeting him.
