  1. Our expected record probably is. We stink but we've been a bit lucky.
  2. He's fine as a colour guy. I don't mind Buck either. I think new school guys are a little too new school and old school guys are a little too old school. At least Buck has some interesting stories about players from time to time, I'm good with that.
  3. Another scapegoat for a terrible front office.
  4. You sit down to watch the Blue Jays on TV and THIS is the worst of what you're viewing?
  5. Whoever said 3 was his worst? He's already shown he can fall below that bar. I place no boundaries on his ineptitude.
  6. Nice to see Vladdy giggling and smiling after another pathetic performance and another pathetic loss.
  7. Honestly, f*** this front office and f*** their nut huggers. We keep watching more and more organizations pass us by. Mediocre major league team, thin minor league system and 0 playoff success. Not only 0 playoff success but playoff embarrassment.
  8. I don't like any other team, I don't root for any other team, so all I have is this depressing mess.
  9. Don't worry guys, we got the top of the order coming up....
  10. I would like to enjoy things like this but now all I do is cringe. At least in games where he comes in with a two or especially three run lead, why not throttle it back a little bit and see if he can get outs taking a little bit off perhaps with even sharper command? If he gets in trouble, go ahead and air it out, if not he might be able to pitch entire innings without throwing a single max effort fastball or slider. Over the course of a season that can really add up in terms of pitches he no longer throws at max effort. Not only does it keep him fresher but you could very will be saving his arm health. Especially in the year in which you're not competing anyway, now's the perfect time for him to try to throttle it back and see what the results look like. Even if he gives up another four or five runs over the course of a season who cares? You got to start thinking bigger picture with guys like this.
  11. Not buying it yet. If he has a second solid start, maybe I'll start to buy it but he was a lost cause practically all of last season and has looked terrible until suddenly he has this start.
  12. Just had to soft hop it to first Bo.
  13. This place is dead tonight. Reflective of both this game and Leafs' fans false hope.
  14. We need Ragans to get the yips again.
  15. I was wrong. On Manoah and Vladdy. They need to get fat again, as fat as they were during their MVP and Cy Young seasons. It's our only hope now.
  16. Doesn't have the deep voice but was both smooth and confident as you said. I wasn't bothered by him.
  17. They won't though, unless you have lousy expectations, in which case they might.
  18. Excellent, then he can be a Yankee instead.
  19. It ain't going to be Toronto. The closer you get to Rogers Centre, the lower the testosterone levels you'll find.
  20. People jumped the gun on excitement for him after 7 innings. We still don't know what he's going to be and we still don't know if he's better off being a bullpen arm. The number five slot is a concern long-term, especially given his innings limit.
