    I should be in Tampa for these games. I was at a conference in Florida that ended Thursday! The wife didn't think it was a wise idea for me to extend my trip though..lol.

    Whit has no place on this team next year. I’m not giving that kind of money with what guys like Schneider clement horowitz are showing and Orelvis Martinez should be an option at some point next year. I’d rather give Ryu a one possibly 2 year deal at a reduced AAV than what he’s on.

    Should be back for playoffs, if they make it. Got to lean on Kirk. Good thing he's heating up, but a big loss for sure.

    Vlad has to have a 2022 Bo Bichette like September for the Jays to make the playoffs. The Jays need to go on a run....10 of the next 11 and then take the 3 of 4 against Texas.

    He made it by a mile. Kid has 30 stolen bases in his career and has been caught 3 times. He has the ability to read the pitcher and take off when you aren't expecting it. It seemed a bit reckless, but given the player I'll trust Biggio's judgement on the basepaths. He doesn't swipe enough bags for the other team to be overly concerned and yet he has above average speed and instincts on the basepaths.

    I love the eternal optimism. I mean that's what sports is all about. Schneider should have pinch ran for Kirk. in the 8th though. They should have found a way to win in the 9th. I've always felt like they were going to make the playoffs all year. After last night, I felt like maybe they weren't. I'm still hanging in there though. What else am I going to do every night at from 5 to 8 local time? Talk to my wife?

    It's not one player. It's an awkward time of the year to play a rookie over veterans. Ruffling feathers and the like, but winning is paramount at this point. Whit, Chapman, KK, Varsho. I'd rotate through and that way everyone is just getting an off day and Snider keeps playing. Snider has been better against right handers all year and right now I'd sacrifice defence to get some offense in the lineup. A lot of pressure on the kid because he has 2 bad games at the plate, which isn't a sample size and he's on the bench. You also have a guy locked in fighting for playing time. He's just so patient. He'll take his walks. He could just be really good this young Snider. Players do come out of nowhere all the time. He could be the Jays good fortune. Run him out until he struggles.

    Biggio made no attempt to get out of the way. Kid has a great eye. He took one for the team.

    I'm just a fan trying to remain positive and hoping for the best for him, not really certain what I'm going to get. Does it bother you that I pointed out that he had bad luck on that one?

    That homer was a homer in 2 of 30 parks. It was hit 361. An easy out in 28 parks. I'l give Manoah a pass on that one.

    Vlad had an WOBA of .351 last year and an XWOBA of .347. This year he has a WOBA of .339 and an XWOBA of .389. I feel like he's due for a September like BO had last year. Springer and him both really. Hopefully they get white hot and straighten those numbers out.
