  1. You really don't know much about anxiety do you..lol Of course they should get paid. This isn't his first bout with anxiety. They should have known the risks when they signed him.
  2. my bad...I'm distracted...cooking..missed that.
  3. why did no one go talk to Manoah and give him a rest.
  4. Talk about home town score keeping. How is a soft grounder to the short stop a triple. Give me a break. It was an infield hit and an error.
  5. nice having springer in right
  6. Chapman hit one 404 that would have been a home run in 20 parks. He just hit one 108 with an expected BA of .530.....we're not as bad as you think.
  7. It wasn't last start, but I'll say it for you. Yes he looks fatter than last year.
  8. speaking of dogshit.
  9. man...people are too lazy to make a gdt
  10. Worked fine for Buerhle. You just have to be able to locate.
  11. I tend to agree...his ERA should only be 14 right now..lol.
  12. As I said on Twitter. Pearson should have made the team over Pop.
  13. Ryu starts a playoff game for the Jays this year. BOLD!
  14. I've been to Minnesota multiple times as a kid to watch games..lol. Toronto is big enough to support the Jays without the rest of Canada. In terms of pure numbers they are at the top because the population is so much larger, but in percentage terms I would guess there are other cities that on percentage terms for merchandise sales and TV vieweship that would be higher than Toronto. The team clearly benefits from the support of the rest of Canada and they cultivate that support by touring players throughout Canada in the offseason. We had Vladdy, Alek and Romano in Saskatchewan this winter.
  15. Pitchers, especially starters often have lower velocity in Spring training. They are building up arm strength, usually working on mechanics and there's zero adrenaline.
  16. Kirk could conceivably hit low .200s to start the season with some bad babip luck, but it's almost inconceivable for him to do so for an extended timeframe once he gets enough bats. His bat to ball skills are ridiculous. When you're 98th percentile in K% and 87th percentile in BB% hitting low .200s is not possible.
  17. Ok...Lopez for the Jays 26th man. I'm sold.
  18. That was dirty....that should have been a hit
  19. where's soroka or Pivetta when you need them..lol.
  20. Nice looking arm. I have no clue who's starting tomorrow though.
  21. That makes zero sense. Run differential should be the first tie breaker.
  22. Okay, that was fun. I still love watching the Axe man pitch.
  23. Matt Brash maybe? Kid's got good stuff. I'm looking forward to seeing him pitch actually.
  24. Well it's 14 to 8, but it's only bottom of the 4th..lol
