    Thanks man! Yeah I've been travelling in Asia the past 3 weeks. Was in Japan and changed my itinerary coming back with a stop in Honolulu and then Los Angeles, before flying back to Toronto on Sunday. As I changed my itinerary, never even checked the baseball schedule and when I checked last week that the Jays were in town, really lucked out haha.

    Changed my flight itinerary back last week and flying through Los Angeles with a 3 day stop on my way back to Toronto next weekend. Just checked the schedule and saw the Jays are in town 😂 what perfect timing. Never planned it that way haha. Looking at going to one or two games that series. Only thing is getting to and out of Dodgers Stadium can be a pain haha.

    Would have also been icing on the cake if the Jays could have added another power bat, but overall this team did add a front of the rotation starter and two very good high leverage/high K arms for the pen, which was needed. Lets hope the Jays get Santander back and he can get hot over the final weeks and that both Vladdy/Bo can do some of the heavy lifting offensively. should be a fun final two months!

    Go trade for Rooker now. If the A’s moved Miller, they’ll move a 30-year-old DH/corner OF.

    I suggested Bieber last week as an alternative for a top of the rotation arm. If he’s healthy, he’s an ace!

    Brock, since I went to Minny to see the Jays back in June, they've been on quite a roll haha.

    Yeah if the Jays can't add a true front of the rotation starter like Cease or deGrom, probably it's best to double down in the bullpen. Hoby Milner would be a nice lefty and has posted a 1.6 WAR thus far with a 2.17 ERA/2.12 FIP and 8.15 K/9. One of Bednar/Duran/Clase/Jax/Bird would be nice. If the Jays really want to add an arm who could start, would target someone who can flip back and forth between the rotation and pen. Mike Soroka could be a nice fit who could provide multiple innings out of the pen and start if needed in an emergency if someone goes down on the IL. Mentioned Harrison Bader's name before, and also just read Max suggest him. Would be a nice fit here and upgrade over Straw and strengthen the Jays outfield defense even more. Plus as some have mentioned Varsho's name in trades, at least adding an OF like Bader would lessen the blow of losing Varsho if the Jays were able to move him for a top of the rotation arm like Cease.

    Could the Guardians shop Shane Bieber? He's in the middle of his rehab and could be a nice arm for the top of the rotation if he returns to his previous elite form.

    Suggested Soroka last month. Think he would be a great add and could do both (start/pen) and might be a secret weapon who could pitch multiple innings out of the pen in high leverage spots.

    He’s been a Leafs fan all his life. What do you expect. He’s happy with a 1st or 2nd round Playoff Exit and no Stanley Cup to show 😅

    It's really a shame despite how great this team has played to date, Vladdy hasn't really done much at all. We need him to be our Aaron Judge, Fernando Tatis Jr, Shohei Ohtani type of bat. He's not living up to the expectations of someone who should be on a $500M contract. All the Jays need is the Vladdy of 2021 or the second half of last season show up, and and then this Jays team goes from a Postseason contender to a World Series contender!

    They need to go on a winning streak like Toronto did lol. Not sure they have the pitching with Lopez and Ober all on the IL. They're 3.5 GB behind Tampa for the last WC spot with both Seattle and Texas ahead of them as well. Impossible catching the Tigers. It's going to be tough. Unless they get back to above 5 or so games above .500 by the end of July, maybe.

    Yeah its a mix of both. Can definitely attribute some bad luck to when they were struggling and some good luck (which every winning team needs) when they're winning. It all evens out. I agree with your point on having the right supporting coaches. Think that has made a difference.

    Would the Twins trade Joe Ryan as well 😅 Duran definitely would be a nice arm for the pen. Louis Varland as well! Harrison Bader would be a nice RHB addition for the outfield. Do the Twins want to get rid of the Buxton contract?

    The played the Rockies for 3 games at Fenway this past week which helps lol. They definitely can go on a bit of a run and lock down a WC spot. As well, like you said they could add big contracts now with more flexibility since the Devers trade. Wouldn't count them out in September.
